The suction power was what sold me on this little vacuum, it really picks up everything very well, surprisingly well! I use it for my car as I have a dog who sheds like there’s no tomorrow. But this little handheld is also good to pick up after my cat who like to spill his dry food every now and then, it’s great for quick pick ups and it charges quickly too! People complain that they have to hold the button down to use it but I had no problem with that as it is very easy to use. It’s made for quick pick ups and is not an upright! Great value on this one!

I bought this vacuum as a convenient option for cleaning up small spills without having to drag out the huge vacuum for a minute or two, unwrap the long cord, plug it in, turn it on for a few seconds, take both hands to push it back and forth a few times, just to put it back away and wrap the cord up, then lug the heavy thing away back where it came from. Are you still with me? Because I would be tired just reading that entire process myself. It's much easier to grab this off the charger and click it on effortlessly and clean up whatever small debris happened to fall on the floor. I originally bought this because I own 3 male rats and they like to throw their seed shells out of the cage bars onto the floor now and again, it's not a big mess so it's easy to suck up their misplaced food/bedding. While it is great for large crumbs/bits, it's not effective against pet hair on carpet/fabric, if you own a cat/dog this will NOT be your go to. I would suggest a lint roller for furniture or a regular large vacuum for your floors (I've never seen a handheld vacuum do pet hair as well). I've had this vacuum for 5 months and still works great and holds a charge.

This has lasted me nearly 4 years, and still works, but the inside flap (that prevents things from coming back out) got old and fell off months ago. This bothers me because, when I suck up an insect, it's able to fly back out. I love that it can hang on the wall. I wish the replacement part I need is easier to find..still looking...

If you're just looking for something for typical "dust buster" type situations, this is alright, but if you want anything more out of it you're not going to get there. I bought this thinking I would use it to clean my car because of it being small, and rechargeable. But the battery grows weak very quickly, and it's peak power is gone within literally just a few minutes. After that it will keep going for maybe another 20 minutes more, but it's suction power is greatly reduced. And the overall suction is not very strong, for example it will pick up dust bunnies and the like, but it won't pick up the slightly larger than sand sized pebbles from the floor boards of a car. And the attachment with the brush is just about useless, partly because of the position it's in when on the vacuums, and partly because the vacuum lacks power. Overall, if you're wanting something that's really useful I'd look elsewhere. This is the bottom of the barrel for Black & Decker.

It had enough power in it upon arrival to pick up some lint & dirt on my scatter rugs. She's plugged in to get charged and then I can see how long she kicks for battery life. At this point, I'll give her a 5 just because she was willing and ready out of the box. If you get replacement filters at the same time, beware. This one has a very "short" or "stubby" little filter that just clears the little rubber flappy thing when put in place. The ones I got are longer, they FIT, but I don't know if the length of them will be a problem or not. I hope not. I'm happy to have a little B&D back in my life. She will definitely make quick pick ups & tidying easier to do. With a dog & his little "dust bunnies" all over, B&D will be a treat to use.

Well, this is probably one of the most honest reviews I’ll write. I bought this because my Guinea Pigs love to kick their bedding and poop around and I got this to vacuum up around their cage. The suction is super powerful, works great. I can say that after a month of owning this, a few days ago I just found out the tip of it extends to get a further reach. Handy! It’s nice and light and super easy to move around with, and works well for getting into tight corners with the other attachment. The only downfall is, the batter life doesn’t last very long and it takes forever to get a full charge. I got it and put it on the charger right away, it took nearly all day for it to be fully charged. Once I took it off and started to use it, collectively the battery only lasts about 20 minutes. Before I knew it I could hear it dying again. The other downfall is, once you’re done, make sure you tilt it upward or else whatever you just sucked up will fall right back out. Those are my only two faults, other than that it’s pretty good. I have no real complaints.
