My use is probably somewhat atypical for this product. I live in Ecuador, and move apartments semi-frequently. Most apartments have the standard 4 burner gas stove. I wanted to cover that up and get the kitchen space back since I cook on a portable induction cooktop instead. This met my needs. It is sturdy enough for me to rest items on top of it, but still collapsible, making transporting it between apartments easy. This solved a very specific problem for me.

I love black appliances but we live in the Arizona desert so the dust is a never ending battle. My stove is only a few feet away from our laundry room where the dog door is so keeping it clean has been a challenge. I looked at the noodle boards, but we don't have the space to store it when not in use. This thing is a GAME CHANGER! I love that it folds up so I can hang it on the fridge. It's well made and lays flat. I LOVE IT. You will too!!!

It serves its purpose but it’s a bit awkward on the stove and there are gaps where the flaps meet. I don’t think it’s worth what I paid for it but it works I guess.

You see that boy on top of the stove cover?I had JUST finished cooking on the burner next to him and laid the cover over it.It gets warm, but clearly not too warm to be any concern to him.The area over the used burner does eventually heat up, but not to burn level temperatures, and the rest of the cover remains at a temperature that is clearly too comfortable for them.Of course, I can only speak of my stove.But it's definitely better than the bare, uncovered stove top.

Needed this to use on New Stove. When we are not using the stove, protects my gas cook top, keeps dust and debris off burners, so range top stays clean. A must to keep black surfaces, dust and dirt free. Thick and durable materials , looks great, folds up easily when using the cook top. Perfect size for 5 burner cooktops.

This fits and works fine for its use. However, it is difficult to clean!!!

This is actually my second identical cover! I initially purchased because when I got a new stove a few years ago, one my cats kept trying to pee on the cooktop. The first version of this cover was more of a material and this newer version is more plastic. The first version was more difficult to keep clean, and stained easily. This updated version I have now cleans up so much easier!! These are a great way to keep your stovetop cleaner with less mess (and effective at stopping cats from accessing the stovetop). I also appreciate that the top is rigid so it can be used as extra counter space when necessary. The cover also folds up when not in use to be stowed out of the way.
