The only wok to buy
I wanted to replace the wok that I had previously. In honesty, after a little research this was an obvious choice. I probably could've got away with the 34cm version, but didn't see what the difference would be. It is also worth getting the lid to go with it. I'm very happy with my purchase. Even though pre seasoned, seasoned it again upon delivery

A pleasure to use
This is a relatively heavy, well balanced, capacious wok. I bought a wok stand so I could use it on my gas hob but primarily it is for use with my Solo Ranger Fire Pit. I followed the instructions for seasoning which was actually very simple as I did it outdoors so smoke was not an issue. It is absolutely non-stick in use and holds the heat well so that cooking is lightning fast. I love the fact that there are no rivets holding the handle on which makes clean up much easier. All in all, a good purchase and a wok that should last me years.

I cant argue with the quality of the product. But theres a scratch /torn in the coating when i received, im afraid it might get bigger and food will stict in it.

Impossible to 'season' satisfactorily
I followed the instructions supplied with the wok: washing in hot soapy water, drying with paper towels, before trying to 'season' it - using rapeseed oil (basic oil method). My stove has a circular wok ring which I positioned the wok on, turned up the gas to heat the wok, and added two tablespoons of oil. Wiped the hot oil around the wok for 8 minutes, but the oil in the bottom began to burn. Turned the gas off and let wok cool down, but the burnt deposits were impossible to remove with hot water and sponge. Even more vigorous cleaning with detergent would not shift the burnt deposits.

Not that rounded
I have a black carbon one of these, which is brilliant, so I wanted to try the blue. Mistake. It looks round in the images, but be warned, it is a lot flatter than it looks, so much so that it is not comfortable in my wok burner ring.. It's also heavy. Just go for the black one instead.

Good quality wok. More expensive than the usual woks you can find in stores. But you pay for quality. Wok surface is smooth and seasoning is easy. Mine had a square scratch in the middle but not a big problem. Used it a bunch of times and food has cooked as expected. Washing wiping seasoning is simple. The wok is a bit heavy like most. The handle is good for two hands. Or you use the opposite handle to toss. I also bought their ladle and spatula and they match very well for cooking. Easy to cook fried rice with. Using these proper steel wok instead of non stick is the way to go. If you’re afraid of burning just get a bamboo scraper brush to clean. I am happy I went with the black one. It is more than enough for what I cook at home.
