I haven't use it as yet but it does come with baytery and screws. Nice and small, qualify product.

I found instructions a bit complicated and I do not know how it actually works. It has a test button; but will not know how good it is until it actually goes off. Hopefully never in anger. THe one I had previously goes off through some cooking times, but this one never has. If it actually works as described, it will be marvellous. It does state that it will cut out "false Alarms".

We bought this as the apartment we rented in Madrid didn’t supply. I cannot fault the size and ease of handling but similarly to other reviews the battery supplied lasted 10 minutes after installation. Thankfully I had brought a replacement with me. So either review the quality of battery supplied (it was still in its cellophane wrapping) or sell without one.

This smoke alarm is a neat piece of kit that is significantly smaller than the one it replaced. It was easy to fit and testing is simple.

For the money I didn't expect such good quality - can't speak to battery life yet as its only been installed for a few months, but if it needs a battery a year that would be fine - we'll see.

Works fine and not as irritating as my previous one and not so sensitive when I'm cooking..

I have only given this three stars because when I accidentally burnt something in the kitchen, and it was very smokey. The alarm which was new and is just outside the kitchen. Never alarmed

Compact but a little tricky to fit if you're still blessed with artex ceilings! You'll need a few washers to space it of the lumps and get the screws to fit flush. Otherwise a good buy.
