I like so much this source because I learnt different things about collocation with examples, uses, phrases, adverbs, verbs, adjectives, noun.

I am an English teacher in Ukraine, and still I found more than half of this book very valuable (that's a lot). Collocations is your way to fluency, and these collocations were very useful to me, as I don't have an opportunity to speak with natives regullarily. This book may not be useful for natives.

I picked this up to help my 9th grader boost his speaking and reading skills. The guide has been very helpful, especially because it is in digital form where he can access it easily. Some of the passages were more confusing than helpful, even for me, an avid bibliophile. That being said, its worth the download for sure.

The contents of this book would need a revision for repeated collocations multiple times and missing words in some example sentences, and etc. Overall, reading this book is beneficial.

This book will be of great assistance to the reader if he or she needs to master english in the sense of speaking it like a native speaker. Definitely recommended to all readers needing to speak English more accurately

In this book, we will learn how important collocation is in the English language. I learn tons of informative and essential practices and use of collocations which is great. In here, I know why it is needed to learn this collocation. I love it!

コロケーションということで、英単語動詞の自然なつながりについてのパターンを記載している本ですが、英単語・熟語をある程度覚えている人なら見ればなんとなく意味の検討がつくであろう、ということで、案外他の熟語・句動詞・イディオム集などには掲載されていないようなコンビネーションがおおく出ているので、何冊目かとしては見ておくのもいいんじゃないかと思います。英英で理解する必要があるので、それがクリアできるのが前提ですが・・・ 個人的にこの本のいいと思う点は、単語の組み合わせで一つの対象を表すようなもので、けっこうカタカナでみるようなもの、例えばorganic foodとかcut and pasteのような案外他で取り上げられていないような物がけっこう載っていて、もちろん所見で意味がおおく分かるとは思いますが、実際に英語で見ておくと、和製英語なのかどうか心配しないですむので、使う際に安心して使えます。 もちろんcatch a coldやput into practiceのようないろんな英熟語帳にのってそうなものも多く掲載されているので、そういう物を復習するのにもいいです。 元々5冊だったものなので、いくつか項目がかぶっている物もあったりしますが、例文が違うので、まぁ大目に見てもいいかなと個人的には思っています。

Having been involved with education projects in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe, I can vouch for the usefulness of guides such as this to help students reach IELTS standards of English conversation. We often forget how complex and idiomatic our language is, and this guide clearly and helpfully explains collocations in a simple and accessible way. The contextual examples in particular help to reinforce the teaching by giving an example students can visualise. An ideal resource for both instruction and student practice prior to IELTS testing. (And being Kindle - much lighter to carry!)

I have read it from cover to cover.I liked it pretty much indeed.I will read the next ones.this is the first one and it has met my purpose.

Estoy afrontando el reto de conseguir el C2 de inglés con lo cual el uso y dominio de las ‘collocations’ es imprescindible. Totalmente recomendado por lo bien estructurado que está. Va al grano con ejemplos que son esenciales para su comprensión.
