Let me tell you that these bottles are a find. Here is why:1- It is a foaming bottle!2- It is a glass bottle. You don't have to deal with plastic issues. The tube, and foaming cup inside is still plastic but there is no going around that.3- I use unscented natural soap and add essential oils to it to avoid the toxins. This means my soap has a clear color to it. Having these colored bottles make my bathroom pretty without the artificial colors added to the soap.4- Now the most important things to have in a glass soap bottle is to be sturdy. This bottle is heavy and sturdy so it doesn't slip under your hands if the counter is wet.Cons:- Some people with small children might need to think about the safety of having glass bottles in their bathroom.Hope this helped.

Aqua/Chrome: Was looking for a foaming soap pump to use with a body wash that I wanted to make for my son using essential oil and I decided to go with this one. Somehow I overlooked that it was actually a glass bottle but that's not a problem. It's very thick glass and sturdy I should say because it was not packaged well. When I got the box I could feel it rolling around inside and thought for sure it was going to be broken. But it was not. I did leave packaging feedback in hopes that they would prevent that in the future. Anyhow, so far so good. I'm using Dr. Bronner's Organic Pure Castile Liquid Soap (Baby Mild) with water and essential oil.Update: I can't leave separate reviews and ended up purchasing a second soap pump (frost/satin) that came with a chip in the glass and the satin finish on the pump had scratches in several places. There was no way to contact the seller so it wasn't worth it to me to go through the hassle of repackaging and shipping back the bottle so I'll eat it. So for this reason I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 3.

Aside from being pretty bottles and easy to use (comes with simple instructions), the lids break so fast. I bought 3 of these bottles and not one of them lasted more than a month! When you push down the top, it doesn’t spring back up like it’s supposed to. It happened to all three. Unfortunately, it was too late for refunds for the first two. Since I purchased the third one a couple of weeks before the first two failed, was able to get a refund for the last one. What a waste of money!!

I love this soap dispenser. We just renovated our bathroom and wanted a finished look. I was tired of buying the bath & body works foaming soaps and having to cover them with those cheap metal decorative sleeves (they rust quickly). After some searching I found this and I'm so glad I did. Not only does the top not rust, it's very efficient and stays pretty clean. The frosted glass adds a very classy touch.Update from my initial review in June 2016:This item was great for a few months, but after use, I noticed that the "frosted" look of the glass was just a sprayed on later because it began to chip and peel. It's almost impossible for this dispenser to not get wet, so even with careful use, expect the frosted coating to chip after a few months of daily use.

I love the way that this pump looks, however, the pump gets stuck. I like to be able to pump more than once if necessary and after only a few days of using it, the pump gets stuck and take a few minutes to pop back up. It is inconvenient to have to pull the pump back to the upright position when your hands are all soapy. I really wish that this worked better. For the price, I was hoping for a better product.

Best looking and best made foaming glass dispenser I've ever owned. And unfortunately I've had to go through some real losers before finding this sweet little keeper by InterDesign. Made of glass so it's solid, (I also bought a clear one) the brushed nickel top on mine is a perfect match to my bathroom hardware and looks so clean and neat. Comes with directions how to mix your choice of soap and water for perfect foam every time, no spitting or clogging and no gummy residue on the opening or bottle. One bottle of our favorite smelling Bath and Body Works shower gel will last hubby and me a year with an economical foam dispenser like this and keeps our hands soft and in good condition at the same time.

Bought two about a month ago. The pumps are fine- still working. Here's the problem...the frosted glass isn't really frosted glass, but clear glass with some sort of coating. The coating was starting to look bad near the bottom of the one we put in the bathroom. The counter may get damp, but the dispenser isn't ever sitting in a puddle of water. I thought it was dirty, so I tried to wipe it with a wet sponge with no cleaner on it, just water. When it didn't get clean, I scratched at it gently and the coating scratched off. I just can't figure out why an object that is made to sit next to a sink wouldn't be waterproof!!! I'd have paid more money for a dispenser that would look great forever- at least longer than a month!!!! I'd buy the clear one, if I were you!!!

I purchased this a few months ago. It didn't work, as the pump would not snap back, but would get stuck. I asked for and received a replacement. It worked for a couple of months, but now the pump is doing the same thing - you press it and it sticks in place. I am so disappointed. I love the look of it, but the mechanics do not work.
