Case Sportsman's Honing Kit

My husband needed a new sharpening set so I bought these for him they got to us fast and there awesome he really loves them great buy.

The case was broken when it arrived.

These stones are not for really dull blades or blades with chips. They will take a blade that just needs the edge taken from semi sharp to sharp. I added some diamond paste to one side of the hard stone for a final polish. The oil is fine but no way will it just apply drops. Will be refilling a dropper bottle with this oil. Not the greatest stones around but as long as you don't let the blades go 100% dull, they will bring back an edge. Guide is 23' - most compatible with Case pocket knives not Case cutlery. Nice size for tackle box, boat or camping.

You should have made both stones the same size! Don't understand that.

One box, one kit. 1 medium and 1 hard Arkansas sharpening Stone and oil and a small plastic jig. If you can learn to keep the pressure and angle consistent, it is the best way to sharpen your knives.

Works great for my knives. I do wish the Hard Ark stone was larger. Otherwise, it's a great product.

I am by no means a professional but I do like sharp knives. I havnt had much luck in the past with other sharpeners but had a friend show me how to use these stones. I bought a set and after a few attempts I was able to get my knife really sharp. I am sure there is better stuff out there but for the money and ease this is hard to beat.

It doesn't mention it in the description but these are natural Arkansas soft and hard stones They are a good size for pocket knives which is what I wanted. The case is excellent for keeping it all together even though it arrived with a broken clasp. I liked reading the history of Arkansas stone and the sharpening instructions. It also has a gauge to help you get the correct angle.
