This was my FIRST review - OUR FIRST WINTER WITH THE PRODUCT. SEE my SECOND review at the end of this one .. A YEAR LATER> I purchased this product for my family's 2 family house. My parents live on the 1st floor, I live on the 2nd. During the winter we were waking up everyday to "mouse droppings" all over the stove and counter, despite these places being washed down after dinner every night with Clorox lemon wipes. Peppermint oil being put on cotton balls and wiped on the counter is another thing we tried. After doing some research and talking to the people I decided this Ultrasonic Repeller was the way to go. I sent for them in mid-January. They arrived and we plugged in 2 on each floor. I feel I have been more then patient and have given this product a fair test (2 months). While there are fewer droppings, the mice are still here and still leaving their "little gifts". The light is blinking every 4-5 secs, since we can't hear the tone it supposedly gives off (sound that mice/bugs hate), I have to assume that either it doesn't bother the mice, they don't care or they are deaf or there is no tone and it is all a con because I can tell you -- These plugged in pieces of plastic are worthless pieces of garbage. THEY DO NOT WORK! SECOND REVIEW - I left the product plugged in for the year, it wasn't in my way. I did notice fewer spiders and those awful stink bugs. But the best surprise was the winter... NOT one mouse all winter long. From talking to people who have had these critters while the product does work, but it has to be in place and operating before the mice take refuge in your home for the winter. Once they are in and have their babies while the noise to them is horrible they can't leave. Which explains when the weather got nice they moved out and as long as the pest repeller stay plugged in they don't come back. We are now on our second winter, mouse free.

I started buying these a few years ago when I lived out on a 1000 acre ranch and had 25 mice all over my kitchen every night. They cleared them out so fast. Then my next place had roaches when I moved in, and again, these things cleared them out. I have seen flies fly in and turn around and fly out when I have these. I noticed that my dog stopped getting fleas when I had these in my house. The only thing you need to know is you need to rebuy them ever 6 months as they loose their effectiveness at that point. So I just replace them. With these installed in my house, I have also noticed NO spiders, and since I moved to Georgia that has a ton of bugs that I have never even seen before, once I got my new ones for my new place I stopped have strange creepy crawlies in my apartment. I tell you, you haven't seen bugs till you have lived in Georgia!

I waited almost a month to write this review wanted to give it time to see if it works. We have a small 2 bedroom house we have one in each room, one in the living room and kitchen (4 come in the package). We still have a minor issue with a rodent. IMO this product does not perform as it stated it would, therefore we will be returning it while we try and come up with another solution.

This product seems to be effective in controlling/eliminating roaches and spiders. If I had more outlets available I would order more.

I bought this product and I also bought the pet lab product. My problem is cockroach. I have seen no ants. No mice. So I have the two different products in different rooms. Neither one of them are killing the Cockroaches. But then again there are less of them the Cockroaches. Both products say to give it some time so I am giving them till the end of the month. When I have the pest control company come back. It's been quite the ordeal.

These pest repellers work. I do not mind that they blink. In a couple of days I never even noticed it. At least I know they are working. I read that they do not penetrate through walls so even though I have one in a large hallway, I added one in the bathroom right next to the hall. The first place I noticed tiny spiders in was the guest bath. It has no window and we seldom use it. I think the spiders liked the darkness. These repel, they don't kill. So be patient, in less than a week the insects will all move out. These will definitely repel insects just use one in every room.

I purchased this repellent for an elderly lady & it seemed to do the trick. They are definitely easy to use & reasonably priced. They are a nice weight & size, and seemed to be effective. They emit a sound that keeps pests away but doesn't bother people. I can't think of any negatives. There is no poison!

My partner was very skeptical but we persisted with using the devices. After plugging in the devices we caught 5 mice in traditional traps. Since then we haven’t seen anymore mice and it’s been for a few weeks. Maybe the device did not affect the mice that were already in the house. But now that they were caught there’s no evidence of more mice.
