Equity Asset Valuation (CFA Institute Investment Series)

My book is damaged when I received it. The pictures as attached .... I am not happy about it !

One section of the CFA exam is on equity valuation. For test prep for the CFA exam, you will need this book. Wiley is a longtime publisher of the CFA exam prep books. My husband used a prior edition to help him prepare and pass the exam. We ordered this as a reference and for our son who is a finance major and who is already working in finance who may take this exam in the next year. The book is dry and serious, the test is brutal. This book is not for entertainment purposes or for a casually curious layperson. Rating 5 stars = Love It.

Equity Asset Valuation covers all the standard topics and does a pretty good job doing it. However, this is one of the few times I've felt like a new edition has taken a step back and the prior edition seems like it was better. I think the first three chapters of this book are new and these are written mostly by new authors. Maybe that contributed to the odd feeling when reading this book. The discussion is at a fairly elementary and general level. Thus, this is good for those new to valuation and may be less useful to advanced practitioners.

This is definitely a must-have if you're preparing for the CFA exam on equity valuation. It is really well organized with many examples and even questions at the end of chapters. This is definitely not for light reading, but for the serious student. The print version is great for study, making it easy to notate and tab pages, but the digital versions would be great for quickly finding specific references. An excellent quality study aid!

This is a good resource for me trying to understand more about equity asset valuation. Provides clear explanation of technical analysis and fundamental analysis. Provides many examples which help in my understanding.

As a textbook for accounting/business students, the text is well illustrated with vignettes and examples throughout. Chapters end with questions, some of which are answered in the back of the book. The overall text provides a complete introduction to equity investments and asset valuation sufficient to allow the student to start working in the field.

Packaging was clean but book appeared it was wet at some point. Printing is fine but entire length of book has wavy pages. Not stained though so it’s still readable. Just disappointed with the quality of the item when described as new. Have three other CFA titles and none had this same issue. Just received so no review of content.

If you want a have a deep understanding of equity valuation. This book is it.

The book come in a great condition dans in the timeline shippung, but i'm really disapointed how small he is. I paid around 140$ and i'm not satisfied with the dimension of the book. I prefered to bought it , even if he is most exepensive in paper, because it was too small on Electronic version, but it appear that he is as small as Electronic one.
