If you want a strong, reliable lock that won’t damage your doors, this is a great option. You have to squeeze the lock handle in, pull up, and then release to lock. It felt a bit unusual at first, but you quickly get used to it — it’s simple and effective. The adhesive is sturdy and the lock feels very secure. Perfect for bedrooms, kitchens, or any door where you want extra peace of mind without permanent alterations. Highly recommended!

I have used it on my front door but not all doors are flat so had to adapt with a block of wood in order to use it . But once in place it is good and handle won't work I had to use a lot of strong glue as sticky pads won't stick to bare wood. I got a stick for front door to add extra protection. But gives me peace of mind I am safe at night on my own x

These work exactly as advertised. I needed a simple non non-damaging solution to keep my dog from opening doors, and these stuck on firmly and haven’t budged. Installation is quick with no tools needed, and removal doesn't seem like it will leave any marks. A solid option for renters or temporary child or pet proofing. The only downside is one of them arrived without a sticky backing.

My 3 year old pulled it off it isn’t as strong as it was mentioned it was easy to install but what’s the point having it when my 3 year old yanked it off and it was no use after because it wasn’t sticky

Such a clever idea. Most buy this to ensure safety of their children, I bought them to keep my indoor cat in or out of rooms!! My cat, a Bengal, opens doors so now I can keep him out of anywhere I don't want him to go! I haven't fitted them yet but will do that over the weekend. I ordered three not realising they were two in a pack which is a bonus as now I can ban him from the bedrooms or living room without having to jam something under the door handle. The only thing I am unsure of, and the instructions didn't say, is how long to leave the adhesive pads in place for them to 'take'. Edited this review to say the locks are in place. They are extremely strong and work a treat at keeping Oliver, my cat, from opening doors. The sticky pads worked almost instantly, I was able to adjust placement when I first stuck them on, but then I left the locks for a while to be sure before using them just to be sure. They are brilliant and I am so pleased I found them.

Wir haben die Schlösser jetzt seit knapp 2 Jahren an der Wohnungstür verbaut, damit unser Sohnemann (3,5 Jahre) nicht einfach unbemerkt die Wohnung verlassen kann. Das Schloss ließ sich dank des Klebestreifens einfach montieren und hält bisher sehr fest. Auch nach 2 Jahren Dauernutzung sind noch keine Schwachstellen zu erkennen. Es ist eine unkomplizierte Möglichkeit ein wenig mehr Sicherheit zu gewinnen. Klare Empfehlung meinerseits.
