Gotta say this thing is awesome and durable. Had it go through a few gnarly wind storms where it even flipped itself, yet the poles and bars are still ok and keep working (sadly the led light cord got severed and I had to do a dyi repair on it). Not sure if the cheaper ones on amazon are just as good, but I can attest to the quality of this one

We had a teardrop and this was almost as long as the trailer. This awning and the room you can attach to the bottom of it and it is a great addition to camping in the wild. This is easy to attach, you have to get the brackets that fit your camper or roof rack. Setting it up can be done with one person, though it is much easier with two.

Overall, the quality of the awning is fairly solid. It stands up well to rain, is think enough to resist major damage, and the bars are lightweight by sturdy. No complaints there. However, it's the small pieces that have been a bit of trouble. First off, the light cord didn't even last two months for us. We stored it in the bag it came in, and I was careful not to bend the cables at any connection points. However, even with that, the cord stop working, as there seems to be a bad connection going into the control module with the buttons. Additionally, the velcro straps that hold the awning against the mounting plate inside the bag have already begun to show significant wear. While it doesn't seem too serious now, I worry about those straps holding up over time. Lastly, and this was maybe just an oversight on my part, but the awning doesn't come with brackets to mount it. This means that only someone with a rack that has a t-track mounting rail on the side of their rooftop rack will be able to mount it that way it's shipped. Otherwise, you will need to buy additional mounting brackets to get the awning up there. So, overall, a solid canopy with some corners cut on the small pieces.

We bought this for our Sportsmobile camper van. I had to order special mounts for the van, but it was super easy to mount and we absolutely love it. It is easier to open and close with 2 people, but 1 person can do it. I love the cool LED light and was easy to hook up to our 12v power. It's very well made too. Also bought the full enclosure that goes with it and it was a great addition. I would definitely recommend this!!

Perfect size for 2025 4Runner

This thing handles wind a lot better than normal EZ-ups. It's also easily deployed by one person and has an optional screened room attachment. ARB also sells spare parts in case something ever breaks. Excellent product.

This has been the greatest addition to our van for camping!

Please be aware that the color listed in the description as black and it is not correct. This awning is light gray and color. If you are specifically looking for black as I am this will not work for you. Not sure why seller does not list correct color.

I’ve had it barely 2 months and one of the zipper tabs broke off. Thought for sure this brand would be more durable. I haven’t even used the awning yet.
