The light fixture is just as it appears and just as described. I was looking for a wall sconce that I could add to a wall where I didn't want to cut into the drywall to hardwire in a light, so this was perfect. I can easily attach it to the wall and run the cord to the nearby outlet. In the future, if I wanted to use to to replace a different sconce, I could always do that too.

All I need now is some Alexa bulbsthat have a party mode. Thank you so much.

It was just want I wanted and was a good value.

So I got these and even though the photo shows the bulb visible I did not really think about what that meant. I have no other similar lights. If you use these with white bulbs of any strength they are blinding as you catch them in your field of vision. I took too long to install them so the return window closed and I decided instead to use them as colored accent lights. I have a lot of smart devices in the home anyhow so threw a couple smart bulbs in and when using with greens/blue/purple etc at a lower brightness they have accent light value. Primary light source for an area - be careful - perhaps if they were over a reading chair or something and you only turned them on when you were seated and they shine down on you from above.
