I have to say the BIHRTC Professional 8 inch Sharp Tailor Scissors Sewing Scissors are great for cutting knits and regular woven cotton. It is like cutting through butter when using these scissors on those fabrics. However, I initially purchased these scissors due to the reviews of how well it cuts through denim. I was using it to cut through some heavier denim and was sorely disappointed, hence the 4 stars. It was difficult to cut through and caused raggedy edges on the fabric. I was scared to use them on my next project because of how the last had turned out. Found out that they do so well on the knits and they are my go to when cutting out fabric for patterns. They are sharp and heavy. I would recommend this for regular dress or light clothes making.

Very nice shears. A little heavy, but the weight serves to cuts the fabric. They are very sharp and cut through fabric like butter. I love the little scissors and thread snipper that come with the shears. I would recommend them.Update: these scissors are sharper than I realized. I just cut through six heavy outdoor panels like I was slicing bread. Clean cut, didn’t bother my wrist at all, and I certainly expected a little discomfort. These scissors are worth the extra money

For the price.......wow great product, the little scissors are beautiful and cut like butter even after 2 months of use, same goes for the bug pair, the packaging is also beautiful and keeps the product nice and secure from being damaged or chipped if dropped

Is you need a high quality, sturdy pair of fabric scissors that will cut thick jean material like butter, than these are the pair to buy. They are so solid and very beautiful in person. My husband loves trying to use them to cut fabric when he visits me in my sewing room and I have to give him a dirty look reminding him to not play around with my high end tools lol!!! These were a great addition to my collection and I see them lasting me for awhile.

I've been using these to cut out masks for nurses to use as extra protection over N95 during the shortage. I've gone through several bolts of fabric, flannel, and twill and these haven't shown signs of dulling. I can also use them for hours before my hand starts hurting.The smaller scissors are fine as thread cutters, but I don't use them as often.

I work in the sailmaking business for over 40 years. We're always looking for a good set of sheers. These are awesome. Super sharp. Good steel that we can sharpen to a really nice edge. Great bushing. Thick. They don't bend and get messed up in heavy stuff. Some of the others here liked mine so much that they bought some for themselves. Highly recommend these.

This is my 2nd set of scissors. I was going to gift them but then kept for myself to have on my cutting table. The smaller swan scissors and the nippers are always handy to have more.

Love these! So easy to use and cuts through thick material and Jean's seams like a dream. Also love the little scissors I received along with them. Highly recommend them to everyone.
