Got this for my gelding while he was on stall rest. The construction is sturdy and easily holds 2 flakes of alfalfa hay. The straps and clips make this easy to hang in a stall, on a trailer or on a fence. It's lasted a year and doesn't show signs of wear or tear - aside from dirt, but horses, right?

It’s perfect for slowing down her eating so her hay lasts longer. The holes are small enough but not too small that she might feel the need to chew through them. They also look very heavy duty & difficult to chew. It holds about 2 flakes of hay.

Very substantial feed bag. Quality construction. Perfect for a horse that is an easy keeper and needs to slow down at feeding time. Has been great during this extremely cold winter to slow my horse down on his hay during the single digit nights so he doesn't run out of hay to quickly. Last longer into the night so he can keep himself warm. Adjustable straps hold it down so horse does not pull it away from the wall during feeding. Straps are tightly sewn on so I don't worry near as much about my horse pulling it down and potentially getting tangled like a typical rope bag.

So far this hay feeder is easy to use. Top loading, opens wide to put flakes of hay in. I have a fat Haffie, and I needed a slow feeder that was easy to use, and didn't require me trying to stuff hay into it. I had a hay net, and it was so hard to fill and then I had to tie it up, and untie it when I used it. This has easy to use snaps and straps to hang it with. I have no problem putting the hay in the wide top. Very sturdy, I don't worry that it won't hold up:). Adding after using it for awhile. The back does not wear as well as the front. Wear holes from being used for for awhile.

This is a really nice product, easy to load, and easy to hang. Love it.

2 weeks in, all 3 have broken hardware and the stitching is coming apart. Nets would have been cheaper to replace every 2 weeks. Super disappointed.

Found these helpful to slow horses’ eating of hay during bad weather days and also keeps it off the ground. I like the strap on the bottom to help keep it in place so they don’t twist it around. Had held up really well with my two horses who are hard on hay nets.

Nicely holds 3 large, 4 small flakes of hay - excellent for overnight, especially in the winter when you want them to have constant access to hay but don't want them to waste it giving too much at once. For my large warmbloods, I give one of these full bags, and an equal amount on the ground - they eat the stuff on the ground first and then move to these for the rest of the night and usually have about a flake left in the bag by morning). My horses who are using these are extremely creative and destructive and the bags been holding up well for several moths now. Worth the price already.
