I made up some b complex powder from capsulated b complex supplement and I added brewers yeast and this liver powder to help mask the nasty taste of the vitamins. The brewers yeast and liver do contain b vitamins in small amounts in the 1/4 tsp I am putting in their foods so I didn't want to rely solely on the brewers yeast and liver powder. They love the taste and I can be sure that they're getting the b vitamins that they need. Specifically thiamine which is so important for brain and heart health. Thiamine deficiency can actually lead to heart disease.

I got this for my senior dog hoping to help fill him up. He seems to think he’s starving all the time! This seems to help, I sprinkle some on his food. He loves it!

I'm so glad I found this in powder form not in capsules like most other brands. I put it in a salt shaker and spread it in my meals. Not much though, since liver has very strong flavor. I haven't tried this yet but I'm going to make pate spread, with eggs and mayonnaise, and to use this instead of fresh liver, for convenience
