They are cheap, they are good looking, and they write absolutely perfectly. I know it says "medium point" but that 1.2 mm size is a slightly bigger size than standard medium to make a beautiful vibrant blue writing line. The blue ink itself is the perfect bold blue color that you expect to get from Bic, and the pen tip puts out the ink so smoothly that it makes writing effortless. I have been buying these exact kind of pens for years and always get more. This exact pen is also #71 in the top 100 pens of all time in NY Magazine, even the basic Bic stick pen made #90, so Bic is always good, but this particular model with the 1.2 mm ball is just stunning to write with.

I have been looking for a good pen that writes well from the start and at an excellent price. I tried many before but I had to "prime" them to make the ink to flow and start writing. Some worked fine for a 3-4 hours but many others did not after I put them down for maybe an hour or two. This works right out of the box smoothly and I love the blue ink they come with. I am a guitarist and I need a reliable pen for transcribing music. Most importantly when the inspiration comes I want to start writing and not to "lose it" because I had to "prime" the pen. I loved them and recommend them. 🎸

I love these pens. Even if they costed more I would still buy them. They are comfortable to hold and the ink rolls out so smoothly. I am sure you will like them also and with a name like BIC you know they are a quality product.

I love the flow of the ink in this pen. It is smooth and streak free. My only concern is that it is very hard to uncap if you place the cap to tightly on the pen itself. It will pull the refill right out of the pen while you tug to get the cap off. Place the cap gently after use and not too tight on the pen itself.

Exactly perfect for what I needed. The quake is excellent in all ways.

1st their Bics. How can you say more! I love the medium ballpoint. The grip is nice👌 The Quality is perfect! Great value as well. While writing there is no skipping of ink flow.

I like using well-made pens and have several favorites, all costing hundreds of dollars. I don't like it when people "borrow" one of those pens off my desk and then "forget" to return it. It means I've lost a good pen, plus I have to scramble for a pen when I need one (and there's never one around). That's why I have a box or two of these BIC pens on my desk. Anyone can borrow one (although they never seem to be returned) and there's always one handy for me when I need one! They are utilitarian, yes, and not stylish, but they work well, write smoothly and consistently, and they are inexpensive enough to have a dozen laying around. Just what I need!
