Order this for 150hp out board. Easy install. No issues with fit. Not sure it would fit a 225. Probably up to 200hp , my opinion. No soft material inside, hopefully won’t scratch the motor. Only time will tell. Haven’t had an issue with it blowing off.

0 to 5 hp cover - very snug fit for my 4 hp outboard motor, covers the whole motor assembly nicely, material appears to be thin and only time will tell if lasts long or not, but overall satisfied with this purchase - use of a wood pallet for a stand works out perfectly and allows me more room inside the tiny shed that I had it in now that the motor is well protected under my sheetmetal covering for my boat

Fit great and has worked fine for covering our boat motor. Not the heaviest material but it does the job.

So far it has kept the motor clean and dry.

Super thin material - also doesn’t fit around the top of my Mercury 150 XR6 despite ordering the 150-225hp option. Would have returned but it tore slightly trying to get it over motor. Doubt it’ll last one winter. Disappointing purchase.

Does not fit my 5hp Mercury outboard. Nice but made for smaller motors.
