Perfect size salt for grinders
I have the great Cole + Mason pepper and salt grinders, and I have found that many of the good salt brands produce such big pieces that it's difficult to get the salt down to the grinder area of my grinder. Cole + Mason's salt is the perfect rock size to easily grind as much salt as I want. It's now my go-to salt for my grinder.

Big enough for salt grinder
I've been looking for salt course enough for my salt grinder, but I couldn't find any. This salt is perfect. I was surprised by how cute the bottle was too.

Wonderful crystal size
Salt crystals are large enough that they don't fall out the bottom of the grinder. Great flavor

Good for seasoning steaks or baked potatoes, use with your salt grinder to season most any foods.
They say that New York and Chicago pizza tastes so good because of the water, it has some credibility in taste tests. My point is simple things can result in better flavor even if it seems they should not taste much different. Salt is NaCl right, Sodium Chloride a common chemical compound. Some of it is pink, table salt is iodized too prevent a health condition, some comes from mines, and some from the sea. This is sea salt, it is not iodized, and large and coarse. It works well for a rub when grilling steaks, and for use in a salt grinder for seasoning any food. It's well known in cooking schools that the key to taste in a dish is seasoning. The two most popular and essential seasonings are salt and pepper, and most times food is under seasoned.I went to a country style restaurant that served big breakfasts, and they didn't salt anything, perhaps as low salt health statement. Problem was food was bland and awful. Unfortunately, adding salt to food after fully cooked is not the best way, it's hard to improve the taste that way. I worked at a place that had some awful cooks for their cafeteria. They routinely made soups, which mostly tasted of vegetables and water. You could add salt, but it was hard to get it right since it wasn't cooked in with the veggies. This salt is somewhat expensive, but quality tasting salt. A little salt goes a long way, so if you want a special kind, the cost can be a bit higher. I tried on eggs, home fries, both with a grinder. I then made 4 foil wrapped baked potatoes using it in the coarse state. You rub the potato with coarse salt, wrap with aluminum foil and bake for an hour. When it cools you can eat like an apple. Recommended, a quality coarse salt, for home cooks to enhance their food.

Great stuff
After researching which salt best for salt grinders, sea salt was the clear choice (not gummy) and was a great choice. Would recommend.
