Worked great
I used this for lapping a new pistol build. Having the the three different grits really lended itself to the project.

High MRR, good cosistency
I've been working with abrasives and this one is just nice to use. The cutting edges are sharp and uniformly sized, making hand polishing effortless.

Good pad - check size!
Good pad, but really check your size needs. Much smaller than expected.

Very easy to use. I purchased the product to polish mandrels and parts removing machining marks resulting in a mirror finish.

Very surprised and impressed.
I purchased this to create some denim strips for my knives. I’ve tried leather strips but had mixed results and to be fair I may have been using them improperly but even after man my years of stropping with a green compound I got OK results. The knives I wanted to strop were some super blue steel (aogami ) knives as well as a Rockstead CHI knife. Rockstead recommends a denim strop on a wood backing which helps prevent rolling the edge and keeping alignment. The diamond paste came in 5 gram sizes and I used about 2.5-3 grams to cover each strop for the different grit sizes. I used enough to make get 70-90% coverage and spreading as best as I can.The results were fantastic! I took a blade that had done rough spots while cutting paper , it didn’t need to be sharpened on stones , and used the 4000 grit and moved up wiping any residue to prevent contamination. Came back beautifully sharp and sings when cutting paper again. The real test was my Rockstead CHI as I could tell it was a few hairs less sharp than normal but in near perfect condition. I used only the 8000 and 50000 grit. Absolutely factory perfect. Since then I’ve been using it on all my knives and they all get a noticeable improvement even if only doing the 50000 grit.Highly recommended and will be buying more grits.
