Yamaha MG24/14FX 24 Channel 14 Bus Mixer with Dual EFX, 3 band EQ

I highly recommend this console for a plethora of applications. The channel strips include all needed facilities, routing options are plentiful, and the possibility for system setup is endless.I personally like how the post and pre-fader listens have their own VU, meter, not robbing the main outs VU. This comes in handy when soloing out channels during a performance. The effects are also extremely useful. Sends are located directly on the channel strips, and the effects sound glorious. Simple, yet versatile and extremely applicable. I would recommend this mixer to anyone that is looking for a sturdy, extremely usable, user-friendly experience. Pair it up with some decent outboard gear, and some good poweramps, and you'll be set. Actually, at a recent job, I shot this mixer into a DBX driverack and then into 4 QSC amps to run a system crossed over and in stereo. WOW. great sound. With the built in effects, I only ended up using an outboard compressor for some vocals. You won't be disappointed.

I use this sound board in a community theater, it out performs anything i have ever used before! the quality, and flexibility of this board is mind blowing! Sticking with Yamaha! Nothing negative to say about this board! amazing... simply amazing
