I use this for marking my scriptures/bible and love it for that purpose. It fits perfectly tucked inside the front cover. Is a little flimsy, but that's actually a plus for me because it bends nicely to conform to a curved scripture page, without being too flimsy to not work well. Have had it for months now and it's holding up remarkably well despite daily use. Definitely recommend!

A review for a ruler? Well, yes. I have small rulers lying in drawers all over the place. Most of them are cheap or free, so why would I pay $10 for this one? Most of the free and cheap ones are thick - either thick plastic or steel with some sort of cork backing. That might be perfect for a cutting straight-edge, but not for carrying in a notebook. The Sketch-Scale is thin and fits anywhere in a small notebook without breaking the binding. It's transparent, which is great for drawing. It's a nice little template with useful shapes. Finally, the length is just right - a perfect compromise between utility and portability. It's a simple tool that is just right for the job. Isn't that worth $10? It is to me.
