Very cool Dog DNA test kit. Did my German Shepherd and discovered some interesting genetics from this test kit. It's a real eye opener to what you think your dog is and to find out what they actually are. I would recommend this test kit to any dog owner who is wondering about their dog breed. I found it extremely accurate and easy to use (to get a sample from my dog). The test results were quick and easy to understand.

Adopted a dog; physical features seemed a bit off from her alleged breed. Test was easy to do, easy to send off, and, wow, her results were quite a surprise. But, can definitely see the qualities from her genetic mash-up, and appreciate the well-formated presentation of the DNA results. Would definitely recommend to anyone questioning why their toy breed is bulky or why Maltese has wiry coat. Love my girl regardless, but helps to know that she's not breed outlier, just.. a different mix of unique.

We found a puppy (only a couple days old) abandoned on a sidewalk and raised him. We had absolutely no clue what kind of dog we had and we weren’t totally sure these tests were accurate, but we thought we’d give it a try. I can tell you now that these tests are extremely accurate. Aside from giving us his breed mix, the DNA test predicted he would have perked ears, blue eyes, fawn speckled coloring, long hair, and more importantly, that he may have shortened limbs due to a genetic condition that may also effect his spine as he gets older. As you can see, he grew up to have literally all of those things. It was really cool to know what kind of breeds he’s made up of, and also have a heads up on a medical condition that will likely effect him in the future. We also found his sister! The kit is very easy to use and comes with a return postage label so it’s no cost to you. We just bought another one for our other dog and are excited to see what we get! We absolutely recommend every rescue-parent get one of these for their mutt!

This was our third time using Wisdom Panel. We enjoy learning more about breeds our rescue dogs have that we wouldn’t suspect. It is easy to use anx understand. We have not needed a DNA test for our dogs since 2016 until 2024 and I was SUPER duper excited to learn that you can now opt in to learn about related dogs. I was excited because our newest addition was previously used for breeding and was really overbred. Our vet said she could easily have given birth to over 100 puppies. Well, we got our DNA results in about the same amount of time they said they would have the results ready, maybe a couple of days sooner. I had forgotten that we opted in to see relatives of our pet. We found one of our dog’s offspring! We also saw over 50 other more distant relatives. The photo of our dog’s offspring looked just like her! In our situation, our dog was removed from her previous owner due to neglect and abuse, and it upsets me thinking about where her many pitbull puppies could have ended up. I was hoping that I could connect with other users (assuming they have the ability to opt in or out for communication) to just ask how they came across the dog/what their experience was because there are a lot of unknowns. I would 100% give this product 5 stars if they made the option available to communicate with fellow users. I would definitely recommend this product and purchase again.

This kit is almost scary accurate. Highly recommend. We did not send a picture in with our test swab for either of our dogs. It came back with accurate color markings, mannerisms (our big mixed breed crosses her long front paws in front of her like a real lady) and breed info. Our big is a mix of a BUNCH of dogs (she is a rescue from Iran) while our little showed exactly the two that she is at a 54/46% mix. Gave health concerns (only one on the little) and even found some relatives of the little. Well worth it when it is on sale for sure.

This was so worth the money it took about a week for them to receive it. Then it took about a week and 2 days to get the results. The results for my pit/ lab mix were pretty spot on as to what I thought. We found out some surprising news about our dog we are fostering to adopt. 100% worth it and accurate!!
