I’ve been using the Amazon Basics 50-inch Lightweight Portable Tripod for a couple of months now, and I absolutely love it. It extends surprisingly high and has been the most crucial piece for my vlogs and content creation journey. It’s super lightweight, easy to carry with the included bag, and works perfectly with both my phone and camera mounts. For the price, the quality is amazing, definitely worth it for anyone starting out or needing something reliable and portable!

Good tripod for the price, folds down pretty small so good portability. Quick release is easy to use, and should be compatible with anything you need it for. Stands at a good height when fully extended and feels fairly sturdy. Overall a good product and well worth the price if youre looking for a budget tripod.

the best I can really say is it works enough. the only reason I could figure out how to set it up is because I took a photography class and used similar ones but this one didn't come with instructions and it got me confused. the screws that tighten the pieces in place are really difficult to use and they don't entirely tighten it. they tighten enough for the camera not to fall, but you can still easily change if it's in landscape or portrait mode even what you can't tighten the screw any further. the transportation bag's strap doesn't extend very much so it's also hard to transport in the bag it came in. One good thing I can say about it is that I thought it was going to be smaller than it was. It ended up being a good hight but compacts enough to be a good portable size. overall, if you're looking for a tripod that isn't that expensive but still works, you should try this one as long as you already know how to set up a tripod.

11/6/2025 On 10/5/2025 I ordered this mini stand for my small camcorder, not realizing I had already received one three days before.! Due to a family emergency going on and back and for to hospital I didn't realize I had put my purchases in the closet to review at a more convenient time. Somehow, the camcorder stand fell back into closet and I didn't discover it until I ordered it again thinking I hadn't ordered it. (should have checked right?) Well let me say that this is very sturdy, attractive stand for the price. The small camcorder fits nice and secure,as I feel my way to the world of blogging.If I ha another small camcorder I would keept the stand, but once is enough. Reasonably price I highly recommend this stury, attractive, sensible stand.

El mejor tripode que he comprado, hasta compré otro para regalarlo. Tiene muchas opciones de usarse, es muy ligero, tiene muy buena estabilidad si lo usas para celular, no lo he usado con otro dispositivo. Tiene muy buena alura. Es genial en verdad. Si estás buscando precio, el precio lo vale, he comprado muchos tripies que se rompen al año de uso y este me ha durado mucho más. Lo recomiendo mucho!!

Though I will occasionally use this for photography, I bough it in order to use my laser-level. I am at a loss as to how Amazon can offer a fully-featured tripod of this quality for this price. The tripod comes with its own zipped carrier bag which also has an adjustable carrying strap. But one removed from this carrier and in it’s closed condition it has a built-in carrying handle (something I’ve not seen on previous tripods I owned). Despite Amazon saying it’s lightweight - it is reassuringly weighty, though not overwhelmingly so, and I normally associate weight/solidity with quality in any case. It is a triple-extend tripod (2 position legs and an extendable neck) and with both extension legs in their fully extended positions it is rock solid. The clamps for that are used to release and lock the legs are also solid and there’s no slip when closed or open. The gimbaled rubber feet are also a boon on uneven or slippery surfaces like wooden floors. The head has all the tings you’d expect, rotation, left/right and tilt controls as well as the winder to raise the extended neck, all of which feel solid and sure. There are two spirit levels on this. One circular one above the legs with which you can level the tripod an any surface by adjusting the legs, and another on the head itself so that one can level that (in my case to get it close enough for my laser lever automatic leveling can kick in.) On mine, though, this is a little touchy to say the least. The bubble does not move smoothly, it will go from the edge to the other edge with the tiniest of adjustments and I had to give tiny, gentle taps to make it get to where I wanted it to me, unlike the button circular one in which the bubble moves as expected. But like I said, levels in photography to me are not an issue and as long as that bubble can get close, the laser lever will do the rest. After that it’s just lock it and use the tilt to put the line where I want it to go. I am very happy with the quality of this tripod for the price and have no problems recommending it to anyone looking to buy a completely adequate tripod for whatever reason.

Viene en una caja de cartón y dentro su estuche de transporte, el tripie es estable, ajustable angular y altura, bastante ligero y hasta trae un nivel para inclinación, cuya utilidad dependerá de si tu cámara o celular esta bien alineado. Yo lo use con un adaptador para celular más bien económico. Y bueno, el tripie me ha dejado bastante buen sabor. Se ve de calidad buena a pesar de no ser de un costo tan elevado. Recomendable para principiantes, y si vas a usar una cámara que no pese mucho, por que me da que con algo pesado si se daña. En general con una excelente relación calidad/precio.
