I have been waiting all my life to find a product that would help me with my ongoing pit/deodorant saga. I would say for the past 10 years I have been searching and trialing numerous different “natural” deodorants and methods but the usual happened - it would work for a little bit and then it wouldn’t work at all. But THIS changed my life. I no longer worry about chemicals or smells. I trust/recommend this product 100%. I’ve been using it for several months, including hot summer months and it hasn’t failed me.

These are my own thoughts regarding my personal experience with D-O and this particular product I purchased.*This is a great alternative to the CRYSTAL deodorant stick. CRYSTAL’s packaging uses a plastic twist-up mechanism that is not always reliable, and the stone sometimes becomes stuck. However, D-O’s cap twists completely off, revealing a stone that is always ready to use without the worry of scraping the pits with plastic. I really appreciate that.D-O’s stone is just as effective as CRYSTAL’s. I primarily bought D-O’s product because the packaging is much more convenient. The stone itself is cut smoothly and is super gentle to use straight out of a shower.Anyone who has not used a deodorant stone, remember that this is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant. You will continue to sweat, but this D-O stone will prevent loud B.O. stank (yes, “stank”...LOL) from having a public concert. Just to be extra safe, I still use a scented all-natural deodorant on top of the D-O stone, but that is totally optional. With the stone alone, the sweat smell stays completely neutral for a decent amount of time—depending on how much exertion you use throughout your day. Honestly, on weekends off work, I could easily get away with not reapplying for a couple of days (I spend my off days being the introvert that I am). Also, it does not stain your clothes whatsoever.Bottom line: it works and the packaging is excellent for continued easy use. If you are not opposed to naturally sweating and just need something to neutralize the funk, give this a try!

I have been detox from commercial deodorants about 4 years. The pro for me is that its small enough to carry in a purse and its to use.The con is once the deodorant is wet (after a few weeks) the base of the deodorant starts detaching from the base. I took a star because of that. I've long been a fan of Crystal brand salt-based deodorants, but this product is a major step forward. The problem with the solid Crystal product is there is no way to securely hold the lump of crystal. Reviewers have suggested wrapping a wide rubber band around the lump, to give you something to grip, but the problem remains: the Crystal product lasts only until it slips out of your hand and is shattered on the floor or counter. This product solves that problem, by forming the salt crystal into a longish cylinder, with a plastic base. It would be a little better if the plastic base were taller, providing more gripping area, but I just grab the whole bottom of the cylinder, which provides an adequate grip. Without the risk of dropping the crystal and ruining it, this package of 6 salt cylinders should last indefinitely and save you a ton of money over conventional deodorants. I should probably add that salt-based deodorants don't work for everyone, so here are some things you should know. They stop odor, not perspiration. They only work if you've already cleaned the bacteria from your underarms before applying the salt (which prevents the growth of new bacteria). For me, this product is perfect. It's effective, non-staining, healthy, and cheap. It doesn't get any better than that.

I get a rather strong bo if I forget deodorant so I honestly did not think this would work at all but I'm trying to be as natural as possible being of child bearing age and this stuff actually works! It's obviously not waxy or gel so it does melt away a bit with excessive sweat (Nevada is hottttt) lasts a round of golf or 12 normal hours. Even 24 hours I can only smell a light smell if I take a whiff but it's like a 10% or less potency. I keep the second one in my purse to reapply in sweat situations

Had been using unscented Crystal roll-on for many years. I ordered it from Amazon. The first time I used the Amazon product, I started itching and burning. I developed a rash. I am wondering if it is the same formula. Switched to this crystal and it dried out my skin and the itching continued. Wore nothing for two weeks until my skin healed up. Am now using Drunk Elephant Sweet Pitti.
