Excellent product! I bough one over a year ago, used without problems until i moved. Now I am looking for a new one for the new house and realized this is discontinued. Very disappointed as it worked perfectly. Can't seem to find anything similar in the market and the ones that I find wouldn't work as well for me and are 4x-5x more than what I paid on this one. Would buy another one as soon as I see it for sale somewhere.

A great product! We have been using this for several months in our laundry room. No problems and well made. This is worth the money and functions better than those pull out from the wall clothes lines. You can lower down the drying rods to chest level (9 ft ceiling in our house), load it up and raise it up to the ceiling (which also happens to be the warmest place in your home). Also, the drying rods stay horizontal. No clothes line sag and clothes bunching up.A helpful hint, put the drying rods in the lowered position, mark on the pull cord where that position is relative to the upper pulley/locking mechanism and then tie a knot there. This will prevent the pull cord from going too high so you cannot reach it and the drying rod dropping to the floor

Product is very handy and perfect for our purpose. The only minor negative is that the bars when extended to their maximum width are not completely straight. Otherwise neat and tidy in appearance and appears to be able to handle the weight of a beach towel. Overall very pleased

Just what I wanted

Hi,I bought this product few months ago and using it everyday. I have installed in the patio ceiling. The problem with the product is the strings that are provided are too small when you install it in ceiling. I couldn't attach another string to increase the length, it slips off while pulling up. So I have pulled the rods down and left them down permanently.The purpose of buying it is, it goes up to ceiling so the floor area looks clean, but that purpose is not solved. One of the rods,after few months, have bent and not able to straighten it.

This is an amazing solution for the laundry room. We ordered the 3-rod version although there is also a 6 rod-one. The one we ordered provides about 15 linear feet of space for hanging clothes which is more than sufficient for our needs. The product is easy to install and comes with all the hardware, which is a plus. You will need a stud finder and tape measure to make sure that it is properly installed although it also comes with drywall screws and plugs. However, the clothes pins that come with the unit are too few and not well made. You will actually need to purchase large size clothes pins as replacements (not the usual wood kind). I bought much better replacements at our local dollar--6/$1.

After receiving many snarky comments from my family members when this product arrived, they have become converts. We installed this directly over our washer and dryer in the laundry room and all I can say is I am in love. It provides plently of space for all our items that get air dryed and gets them up and out of the way. My only potential regret is that I did not get the 6-rod version. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.As a note, it can be installed so the pulls are on the left hand side instead of the right.

Works ok. For the cost, it's a great value. Our washer/dryer is in a small area with a relatively high ceiling so having the ability to hang items and pull them up out of the way is very helpful. Not the most stable apparatus and if you don't tie-off the strings after you have raised the hanger, it can come crashing down with everything on it.
