Update, I still love my projector but it’s been about 4 months now still working great but it has its moments where it’d make play the sound of whatever I’m looking to watch but show a message telling me to unplug everything then plug it back in, then I’ll see the video or movie. But that’s just a quick update on what I don’t like but other than that I still love my projector. I’ve wanted a projector for sometime now. I knew exactly what I wanted and it was this one. This is definitely worth the buy. I didn’t originally read it was renewed but still it’s a great projector. The instructions are clear enough for anyone to understand how to use it and it came sooner than expected and in perfect timing. If you’re looking for a projector this is the one. The added roku is the BEST added bonus ever, it makes this one out of any other projector worth the money. Side note (roku is included BUT the apps are not. you have to have your own accounts with any streaming service you want and just log in) I hope this helps and I really hope if you purchase this projector you enjoy it like I do.

Love this thing so much I was SHOCKED it actually worked. I’ve moved it around my house from room to room as I didn’t have a TV after I first moved so I just set it up to play facing a wall whatever room I was in 😂😂 now it’s setup in my living room as I’m making a home theater !! Picture quality is amazing and easy through setting or focus dials on the top. You can use the Roku app as the remote control, and the sound quality is actually great in my opinion anyway…. Will be adding surround sound at some point to complete the home movie theatre 😎 This picture is with the Roku player on my coffee table and i used the knob on the bottom to angle it up (it’s like a screw knob you can unscrew to angle the projector up or down) but I also got a ceiling Mount now that it’ll be staying in this room for the foreseeable future…works great with ceiling Mount just have to go to settings and invert the picture. It actually notices when it’s upside down most times I’ve mounted it to the ceiling so I don’t have to go to settings but just fyi!!!!

Just wanted to plug it in and make sure it works so this is not the permanent setup. But it fills a large space and is pretty loud. It included a Roku remote but it seems that any Roku remote will work on it. My cat is interested in it on the wall but I'll be using a 100 inch screen once I get it down in my basement.

This is third of this specific model we have purchased over the years and the only one we will buy. It has a great picture on our screen and is just as good on the side of the house when we are visiting friends. The best feature is the roku and ease of connectivity. There is no struggle with needing to connect the WiFi through your phone. Simply connects to my home WiFi with no issues. Love it!

Purchase as an "Amazon renewed" product. Defective. Within minutes of operating, the picture had a large growing dark spot. Returned. Would repurchase the product in "new" condition. Even with the onscreen blemish, it was evident that this was a quality product: the picture quality was good; the volume was loud from the projector itself, without needing a sound bar/ speaker; the roku stuck came pre-installed; and operation couldn't be any more simple!! I just won't purchase any more "Amazon renewed" products in the future. Our family movie night was disappointing. Once again, I'm on the hunt for a similar projector without breaking the bank.

After ordering this last December, I am noticing some things that are slightly annoying and may prevent me from buying another if I needed to. The Roku remote does not control the projector volume, you must have the second remote for that which is ridiculous. The light has burned causing an orange blemish on one part of the projection, this seems like a quality thing considering it's less than a year old. Some apps also kick you out randomly and the projector tells me it has no internet while the wifi is perfectly functioning. Overall we still use it and it's way nicer than our old TV but I may consider getting a nicer one next time. You get what you pay for in this case!

the brightness is just good enough for really dark environments. at least the unit i received seems to tend towards a blueish color but it does not look wrongly calibrated. i find that it excels at playing cartonish content like anime. and more real content looks a bit more greyish than normal. also notice that the unit is 720p native, but it can play content at 1080p. however you will notice that content played at 1080p will have a different color. It looks more saturated but is up to everyone decide which color tones they prefer just be aware. i got this unit specifically to play 720p content like xbox 360,ps3 and wii u. where the ps3 looks specially better. I believe this unit does a fairly decent job but I feel i would prefer something a little bit brighter where the colors dont look as washed out.
