Recommended by my vet - and they WORK!
We have a shih tzu poodle mix and while we brush his teeth every day, these are great for right before bedtime. The enzymes go to work on his teeth overnight and he literally has no tartar buildup. He enjoys the taste of these as well. Some people complain about the size of the chews - but they are perfect for a dog under 20 lbs. As always - and with any chew, always make sure to observe your dog and be present when they are eating the chew.

My Shih Tzu Says This Is Good Chewing
As to taste or flavor, I have no idea but 1-2 petite sticks broke in half each day has really kept my dog's teeth very healthy. I soak in water 1st for 1/2 hour and let them dry a few minutes before giving them. Elliot (8) years old, just likes to chew them. They don't last very long - maybe 5-10 minutes, but who cares if his breath, teeth, and gums are as healthy as they are per Vet.

Quality low-calore chews
A good chew for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Should be good for a 5-star rating, but I'm not sure of freshness. One package my dog will love, and the next he will reject.
