Meeting all my expectations and more!
I have a 2.5 year old girl and a 11 month old boy. My oldest has always been a good eater. I made my own baby food for her, and she ate pretty much everything I gave her in good volumes. Still does for the most part. My son, on the other hand has been nothing but challenging in this area. My biggest challenge has been that he refused the spoon and insisted on feeding himself. But a kid can only survive so long on Cheerios! One day out of desperation, I tried a store-bought pouch like these. My daughter never liked them until she was much older, but he sucked it right down at about 8 months old - he just loved that he could hold it himself and he "got" the idea of sucking on the top. But they were SO expensive, and I already had baby food made that I want to use, so I bought them every once in a while, but still struggled to find other ways to feed him that he would take to, all the while loving when I "got to" give him a "sucky thing" (like my daughter calls them) because they were clean, easy and he would eat the whole thing, so I knew he had a full belly. Eventually, I looked into "self-fill" pouches once I found they existed. I was a little frustrated by what I found first, because you needed to buy a fill station or pump, and since they filled from the little spout on the top, they would have been really hard to clean, and they were technically not intended to be used more than once, etc., etc., etc. Then I stumbled upon Nature's Little Squeeze after following links, consumer suggestions and commenters recommendations on Amazon. First of all, I loved all the specs: made to be reusable (yay!), dishwasher safe, freezer safe, easy to clean and easy for fill because they open from the bottom (I loved this feature most of all). They also had the best reviews of any other "fill from the bottom" pouches I found. They seemed a little more expensive than some of the other kinds, but I trusted the reviewers and my gut and figured it would be worth the money if they worked better than the others! And they worked SO well!! I gave one each to my kids at breakfast time and just put some applesauce in there. First of all, I was happy that all I needed was a spoon. The last thing I need in the kitchen is another gadget to store or clean! Lord knows I have enough dishes! Then, they both devoured them! And when they both wanted more, I just opened up the bottom and spooned in more applesauce! Amazing. Added bonuses: my daughter likes her applesauce warm, so I just dropped the filled pouch in warm water and done. When they had some leftovers, I just popped them in the fridge. Later, at dinner, I had my son finish his leftover applesauce, rinsed it out (yes, it is TOTALLY easy to clean - I was even able to stick a bottle brush in there which wasn't necessary this time, but it was nice to know I could), and then put a jar of baby food in it that I hadn't been able to get him to eat, and he sucked the whole thing down in a couple minutes. It was a revelation. I wish I would have bought these earlier! Cheaper, easier, less waste and I can put whatever I want in them. I can see so much potential: not only can I "sneak" a bunch of nutritious food in there for both of my kids, but I can even just put my frozen cubes of homemade baby food that have gone uneaten for months in them and let them thaw in there if I want or use up the jars of baby food that I was trying to figure out how to get rid of. Also, we are traveling to New Zealand in a couple months. I am excited to think that I can just throw these in our luggage empty and have an easy, cheap and familiar feeding option once we get there with no added bulk or weird customs issues or spillage worries. I won't need anything but a spoon to fill them and water to wash them - and I'm pretty sure New Zealand has those - even the airports for that matter. Hooray! THANK YOU. In one day, this genius product has solved a lot of my problems without adding anything to my already over-loaded to-do list.

Easy to fill, easy to use, and easy to clean!
Easy to fill, easy to use, and easy to clean! I've used these for applesauce, sweet potato puree, oatmeal, green smoothie, carrot puree, banana puree, and yogurt. I fill a few at the same time and just keep them in the refrigerator until I need them and I just grab and go! I love that I can put in whatever I want and not have to pay insane amounts for disposable (a.k.a. wasteful) packaging. Filling it is very simple. After I separate the zipper I just squeeze the sides with one hand and spoon in whatever I want to with the other hand. No fancy gizmos necessary! Before my baby learned how to suck on the spout, I would just squeeze the contents onto a spoon and spoon feed her. SOOOOO EASY!!! Unlike a baby food jar (do they even still sell "jars" anymore?), there is no need to throw out the remainder of what doesn't get eaten due to baby's saliva getting mixed back in the food. Since the spoon doesn't touch the contents of the pouch, if she doesn't finish the whole thing I can just refrigerate the rest and she can eat it later! NO WASTED FOOD!!! And even now that she does know how to suck the food out, if she doesn't finish, I just squeeze a little bit more out of the spout to be sure there's no "backwashed" food in it and re-cap it and it's still good for a future feeding. I really love that there are no corners inside the pouch that can trap food. The slippery surface on the inside keeps the food from sticking (even when I accidentally left a used pouch in the hot car for a couple days). I've never bothered to put it in the dishwasher because it seemed like more work than it would be just to hand wash it. I just run water through it, put in a squirt of soap, shake it around a little, and rinse! The lower part of the spout is the hardest part to clean, but it's not too bad. Soaking it for a minute and spraying it with the sink sprayer are all it took to get it clean if it had dried on food. The double zipper is wonderful because I know it's secure and won't separate during use, no matter how hard it is squeezed. The only thing I'd improve would be to have the lid attached to the pouch in some way while it is being used. I've been worried that one of these days I'll set the lid down while my daughter is eating and then not have a lid when she's done! I highly recommend this product! And if they made a smaller version of this exact pouch, I'd recommend it too!

Holds a lot, good quality
We have an autistic 5 yr old who only drinks from a sippy cup and eats puréed food out of pouches, so we really put reusable pouches to the test. They see daily use, multiple times with refills and a little guy who chews the spout. So on the positive- I love the large 7oz capacity compared with other brands; the ziplock seals well (when I remember to close it 😜); good quality lids; easy to clean. On the downside, and more due to my kiddo chewing on them so much, the spout is not super thick and the threads for the lid no longer work. Overall, these are great quality and under normal circumstances would last as long as needed for an average baby or toddler.

Helped with transitioning my little to solids and easy to clean
These have been awesome for me. The pouches are well made in my opinion. These pouches did help out when my youngest was going through solid food transition. We struggled with eating baby food off of a spoon and she favored milk from the bottle instead, however, she was more open to eating it if we used a syringe. After informing the pediatrician with our struggles she recommended using pouches instead of a syringe. I got these and for the most part it helped with encouraging solid foods. Price is fair to me. The Ziploc part of the pouch is pretty heavy duty and stays closed. Cleaning is also easy as long as it's done within 24 hours of use. They are still able to make a mess if they squeeze the pouch too hard, but that's inevitable with little ones. Designs are cute too. If you have similar problems with your little ones with transitioning to solids, give these a try.

These are great and much better than buying the one time use pouches from the store; for the environment and your wallet. They are so easy to wash and refill. I keep them filled with apple sauce for my kids as a quick and easy snack that they can get themselves. They travel well too and we haven’t had any leaks yet. I wish I would have gotten the larger size though as my kids are older (3) and we don’t use them for baby food.

For some reason my toddler only likes fruit puree in these pouches so these are perfect! especially when we are on the go or i need to make snacks in advance for him to bring to school or when grandma is baby-sitting. Easy to clean and easy to use! love it!

After using the pouchs in different occations and really trying them out. I can finally tell you my thought and comment. I give you perfect score. Here are the reasons I like about them: - They are good for carrying around. Just like those commercial food pouch, but with my home made food. So healthy food for my daughter - They work great with foods thsy are firm. I used a lot of white rice in my baby foods. The baby foods tend to be quite dense and firm, not runny like the commercial ones. Because the open area is big, I have no problem squeezing the foods out onto a spoon and then feed right away. - Heat up fast. After the food is defrost, just dump the pouch into hot water and ... WA LA..... - Durable, I freeze them and defrose them in room temp, or in hot water a few times... no problem. But since it did not indicate I can sterilize it, so i never put them in steamer or broiling water to defrose and/ or reheat. - Round corners made it easier to clean. So there you go. These are my real thought. I am ordering more now from Amazon and I will recommand my friends for sure. Awsome products.
