I've been wearing rugged Casio watches for decades amd own a few nice dress watches but have always liked the look of simple basic watches. For years this e-ink watch intrigued me so I finally picked one up. I watched a review where the guy was upset that the watch wasn't a smartwatch. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out by simply reading the description. This watch tells the time and the date and that's it. You set it and you leave it alone. It has two options - black on white or white on black. They're actually two shades of gray but one's definitely darker than the other one so it's easy to read. There is no light but to be honest how often are you in total darkness where you need a light on your watch? My main watch has a light and I can't remember the last time I've had to use it. I don't go caving very often. PROS: Stainless steel body. Genuine leather strap. Quick-release pins for easy band swap Band is very soft and thankfully matte. Easy to set so you don't need to look at the instructions. Buttons are easy to push. Contoured shape of the watch fits my medium-thin wrist very well. Very thin so fits under sleeve easily. Very very easy to read. You can even read it well in the middle of a sunny day. Body is made of stainless steel. Face is mineral crystal. Uses a common watch battery and comes with a second battery. E-ink uses very little power so the battery should last a couple years. Battery is easy to change just by unscrewing the back using a coin. CONS: If you want a screen protector you'll need to make your own. Comes with watch band however some of the older reviews said they were two. Extra hole had to be punched into the leather band in order to fit. I'm not sure why these watches are not more popular or why e-ink isn't utilized in tech industry more. Seems to be a pretty good system to me since the screen on it's own is flexible. If you're looking for a simple watch that tells time and date and grabs the attention of others then give it a try. Overall it's very well made and hopefully will last many years. Definitely not an outdoor rugged watch or something you would want to go swimming with but for the office it's pretty nice. I ordered a soft silicone band to replace the leather. Nothing wrong with the band, i just think silicone is more comfortable . Highly recommended.

I bought this watch because I wanted to see what an e-ink display would look like in a watch. I really didn’t think I would actually wear it. Surprise, it’s my favorite day to day watch. The big curved case sits on my wrist comfortably, and doesn’t move around at all because of the curve, even if the strap is loose. The strap that comes with the watch is garbage; it stretches and stretches and within a week it’s ridiculously loose. So be prepared to buy a better quality 24mm band. And don’t be freaked out when the display blinks out every minute for a fraction of a second; e-ink displays need to refresh their time display every minute which is a small price to pay for their amazing power efficiency. And I’ve come to really like how readable it is; the display is huge and I can easily read it without glasses with my seriously bad vision. I don’t know how long it will last, but until it fails I’ll keep enjoying it.

The watch face looks much too big on the wrist, and as you can see from the photo, it's poorly designed with a weird black box for the date. When the display changes, EVERY MINUTE THE ENTIRE WATCH FACE BLINKS so if you see it in the corner of your eye you are momentarily distracted, who needs this? There is no seconds indicator. There is no night illumination button. The watchband came with too few holes to fit my normal wrist. And overpriced, obviously.

I bought this watch for my father's 87th birthday. He loved it. The battery died after 7 months, but have no fear they added a extra battery in the original purchase. I contacted Berny customer service to diagnose what was wrong with the watch. The company customer service rep, Kelly went above and beyond to help us figure out that the watch did die, but simply needed a battery change.

I love watches, especially unique ones. This is unique for sure, people comment on it all the time. The face is eInk and can either be black on white or black of white. Because of the eInk (like a kindle paperwhite or scribe), it flashes when the time changes every minute. Some reviews have said it is annoying but I don't mind it. It uses common batteries that can replaced easily as the case can be opened with a coin. I recommend it.

The strap is huge. I have it on the last hole and it is still sort of loose. Otherwise it's perfect.

Great watch, a step into the future, simple & elegant. I have a big wrist and was concerned about size however the unique shape will work on all wrists large and small.

Klasse Uhr mit toller Optik. Macht sich richtig gut am Handgelenk. Hat vor allem auch die richtige Größe. Der Clou ist der Farbwechsel von heller zu dunkler Anzeige mit einem Tastendruck. Wer noch kein Geschenk für die Feiertage hat, wäre damit bestens beraten.

Pareciera que la información de hora y fecha estuvieran impresas en la caratula y cada minuto hace un parpadeo de toda la pantalla para cambiar el dato, minuto a minuto. Tal vez para algunos pueda parecer desventaja, el parpadeo, pero lo compensa lo bien que se ve.
