This type of B vitamin is now recommended by a lot of nutritionists, so I tried it. I think they work well without giving you the energy zing that some other types give you. They provide energy, but don't feel like you just took a shot of adrenalin. They are also small and easy to take which is easier that some of the other B vitamins with all the fillers.

I am compound heterozygous (MTHFR ). Which is normally not a huge deal, but I also have a history of stroke and autoimmune activity as well as activated Epstein-Barr virus. I exhausted the other options and finally may have my answer. I was going to go with a different company until I realized that they had a different form of B6 then was ideal for someone with MTHFR. This brand has the form I wanted. Here is why: Confirm B6 Form If the label just says “Pyridoxine” or “Vitamin B6” without specifying P-5-P, then it’s likely the inactive form (pyridoxine HCl). • Some people with MTHFR (or impaired liver detox) don’t convert pyridoxine well. • Look for P-5-P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) — it’s gentler, active, and more effective for reducing homocysteine. Watch for Niacin Form & Dose • If it contains nicotinic acid, high doses can use up methyl groups and cause “niacin flush” • If it’s niacinamide or in small amounts, it’s usually fine • You don’t have to avoid it — just good to be aware, especially if you ever feel flushed or tired after taking it 👀 this brand has the no flush niacin😁 If you are positive for MTHFR be sure to research these things. I was pleased to find that this is a good choice. I have just started taking it for a couple of weeks. It is yellow of course I do not chew it so I do not know what the taste is, but it is fairly quick and I just take two at a time. It does say you can take them at two separate times.
