I played with it for 15min and concluded it didn't fit. It sort of pressed on but wouldn't twist and though it stuck "a bit" it wasn't really on. But then I found (actually my wife did) that a slow twist (about a qurter turn) with a little downward pressure did seat it on my SX50 HS.

Bought this for attaching eclipse filter. It fits my SX70 but falls off it tilted down, so must use a tripod. SX70 camera design to use this is disappointing. Eclipse filter combination did not work well enough to get good pictures. Maybe next time.

This adaptor is doing it's job.

Could not get it to attach. Maybe I was not doing it right but sent it back because I could not figure ou ho to get it to stay.

I got this and can NEVER get it to work. It fits on the Canon sx50hs camera OK; but, when I put a 58mm lens in place I need to put the words facing out for it to work...THEN, a lens cap won't fit on it. Have tried a 55mm and 58mm and neither work. VERY, VERY UNHAPPY...unless I am doing something wrong.

designed to fit onto the lugs on the end of the lens. It does not screw on, rather it a a 1/4 turn to lock (or so) It fits, it works. No complaints
