Fantastic Popcorn for Caramel Kettlecorn
I absolutely love this extra large mushroom popcorn. It has a fairly low popping failure rate if you do things right. I got a Whirley Pop stainless steel popcorn maker rather than the usual aluminum one because using stainless is better for health reasons. I also wanted to make caramel kettle corn and it seemed like the stainless plan would help prevent burning, which it does. How to make it without disappointment: 2 TB coconut oil. 1/2 c. of this popcorn. 1/4 c. dark brown sugar. Put the oil in the pan and turn to medium high heat. After it melts add the popcorn and stir it a bit, then sprinkle in the brown sugar and use a long spoon to stir it all around to help the sugar melt, and also get it out of the corners of the pan and mix everything together. When it looks nicely mixed, put on the lid and start turning the crank until it starts popping. When the popping slows, turn off the heat. Pour the popcorn onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper or even paper towels will work. Spread it out, sprinkle a small shake of salt over it and let it cool for a few minutes. When cool you should put it in a plastic ziplock bag because if you leave it out, it won't stay crunchy. I love this stuff, and there are very few unpopped kernels. It is a mix of the mushroom popcorn with a bit of the butterfly type in it, but I've bought several bags so far and they have all been mostly the butterfly popcorn. I don't know about other methods of making the popcorn, especially when making Carmel kettle corn, but what I described works great. The popcorn is lightly "touched" by the brown sugar Carmel, but not excessively covered like carmelcorn or the like. It's light and tasty. I developed my way of making it because I was copying a small bag of wonderful Carmel kettle corn sold in my local market for $10. The amount I get making my own using 1/2 c. popcorn equalled about 3 or 4 of the store bags. I haven't tried any other mushroom popcorn, mainly because I'm totally happy with this one.

Delicious
Best popcorn ever! No hulls means nothing sticking in between your teeth, plus it tastes great.

Fourth bag I have purchased and used.
From bag to bag the kerrnels do not pop consistantly. Using the identical settings and same equipment, one bag mat pop more efficiently than the next. I'll try one more bag. The taste is excellent, however may not be worth the exspnse.

Can't miss popcorn
This is the best popcorn I have ever used. I have a silicone microwave corn popper and when I make popcorn there are no unpoped kernels left. Every kernel that goes in the popcorn popper pops. And its excellent white popcorn.

Not recommended if you like crunch
Each colonel is very large, but it doesn’t crunch Was disappointed in the product we ended up buying some Orville Redenbacher, regular popcorn. I would not recommend this popcorn if you like crunch.

Delicious blend of popcorn, but it does take some trial and error to get it to fully pop. I ended up using a method I found online. Used a frying pan with oil, but start off by heating one kernel of each variety in the oil. Once those are all popped, remove the pan from heat, add the rest of your popcorn (1/3 cup is ideal), then let the sit in the pan for 30 seconds before returning to the burner. This ensures the kernels all pop around the same time.

This is excellent popcorn! Non-GMO, which I appreciate, and very large and with nice crunch and texture. It does have hulls, and you have to be sure they all pop, but I expected that as I use a frying pan for popping and haven't bought a whirly-pop yet (though it's on my list). It also, does indeed, make fantastic caramel corn.

My stomach hurt with other popcorn, so I was looking for something non GMO and organic. My tummy notices a huge difference with this. I felt so much better. Kernels pop pretty good but you must heat your popper at medium high, then add the corn and once it starts popping, turn down to medium or medium low (depending on your stove). Starting out hot makes a difference but be careful not to burn it. You have to watch it carefully. God Bless.

These barely get stuck in my teeth and much more pleasant to munch on than the standard kernels. If you like big popcorn then this is not the kernel for you.
