Rebuilding the forks on my CRF230F as I'm a 190 lb. adult and much heavier than the bike was made to handle. Really smooths out the ride, and with the addition of BBR heavy duty springs, virtually eliminates nosedive on hard braking. I believe it comes with 10W stock, and folks recommend using up to 15W for bigger riders or aggressive riding. If you're a bigger guy who also rides aggressively, this is the stuff. I recommend buying two bottles if you're rebuilding the fork legs, since you'll need a bit to coat your new parts in during assembly.

Was having major trouble with leaking forks on my 81 Yamaha. Used this in combination with a quality seal change and havent lost a drop since. Good smooth fork travel and even works well with my anti-dive system. 37 year old tubes obviously have some wear and tear. However there is still no leaking 4 months later. Sold for life.

I used this on a Rockshox Psylo U-Turn mtb fork. Rockshox always uses medium coils in non air forks. Good if you are under 150lbs. It is impossible to find a heavier coil for this particular fork. So I put this heavy wt. oil, and it is thick, in replacement of the Rockshox 5wt. It made enough of a difference to weigh down the spring so my 195lb. frame can comfortably ride this bike. It saved me from getting a new fork.

Not as heavy as I thought it would be. Glad I didn’t use anything lighter.
