Yankee Candle Macintosh Scented, Classic 22oz Large Jar Single Wick Candle, Over 110 Hours of Burn Time

I use to buy Yankee candles years ago. When I saw that they were still selling the Apple scented Macintosh candles I had to buy it. It smells like apples boiling for making homemade applesauce or baked apple pies, minus the vanilla-buttered crust. It is definitely one of my favorite Yankee candle scents. I love the way a room smells when the candle is burning. I also use the Macintosh room spray and fragrance oils. And the bonus is, you know you are getting quality products when you shop these long lasting Yankee Candles. The price was really budget friendly…I actually can’t believe how much I paid for it. I’ve bought no-name candles that didn’t even scent the room, for more. This candle is over 5 inches vertically and about 4 inches horizontally. I light my candle everyday to relieve the kitchen and dining room of the garlic and onion scents from making dinner. These last a long time, I light this candle everyday for 4-6 hours and it’s lasted me over a month and a quarter of the way down. This makes an amazing housewarming gift or just treat yourself. I just bought the black cherry candle for my son’s room. It will definitely lift the oder of an average teenage boy. I am very pleased with this purchase and have already signed up for the subscribe and save so that I never miss a day with this candle.

Smells good

As usual dissapointed with the performance/throw of Yankee Candles. I keep trying but their candles just aren't what they were 15-20 years ago. Just not strong. I also didn't care at all for this Bahama Breeze scent. I faintly smell mangoes, guava and a weird faint musty odor mixed in with that so I guess it's a good thing that the throw was very weak lol. I'm going back to Village Candles, their Tropical Getaway scent smells exactly like a Pina Colada and it fills my livingroom and kitchen with fragrance, perfect Summer scent. EDIT: I upped my star rating because I purchased the Coconut Beach choice after reading positive reviews online and it is amazing! At first again I was disappointed because while cold the candle doesn't have much scent but boy does that change once it starts warming up under my lamp warmer. The scent is great, strong without being overpowering and I could still smell it hours after I turned the warmer off. Yes it is a Summery tropical scent and I do pick up the coconut, floral and musk notes. I wouldn't say it's as close to smelling like a Pina colada as Village Candles Tropical Getaway (that scent is straight up pineapple and coconut) is but that's a good thing. I didn't want something that smells exactly the same as I already have a few of those candles. I still stand with my original review on the Bahama Breeze scent, that still gets one star but Coconut Beach is a winner for sure and gets a 5 star rating from me.

ORIGINAL NICE PACKAGING

Es perfecta. Llegó sin inconveniente. Su aroma es afrutado (toronja, piña, entre otros). La uso por unos minutos en mi habitación. La recomiendo totalmente.

This melted a bit, so it wasn’t giftable. But it is okay for me, I was keeping it. It seems to be a softer wax than the other two jars I bought in different scents. But they all smell wonderful. This one was too messy to give away. The wax oil was leaked into the box and all over the glass lid. I tried cleaning the lid, but it was too messy and threw it out. The candle itself is still good, I could wash the outside off okay enough. If you are buying a gift, try another scent. Otherwise if it’s just for your own use, this one smells like real apples. Lovely red colour too. Thank you.
