Good for use with Arduino
Good for Arduino Uno. The way this works uses very little memory from your arduino. HMI software takes a little time to get use to but all in all, it was up and running in very little time on first use. Works great for my application. When you get use to adding photos and changing font you can make some nice looking screens.

Ugly ugly ugly TN panel
Comes with one of the ugliest TN panels with some of the worst viewing angles I've seen.Touch input requires a somewhat firmer touch than expected.Design software and library certainly have room for improvement, but once it's set up right it appears to function.Note that you can program the device directly over USB using a serial converter instead of the SD card dance. (I've been using Adafruit's FTDI friend and it works great.)

It works perfectly with simple communication protocol. What more do you want? Going to try communication over CAT8. Will update after.
