Perfect Egusi. Time saver and taste great!!!
This packet has been a game changer. Saved me tons of catering cost during the holidays. I just added some garlic and extra bag of spinach. BE CAREFUL WITH EXTRA PEPPER PACKET. it looks like the dried shrimp seasoning so read the packets carefully before using them. In fact take the pepper packet out completely/separate it from other packets. Next time I might skip the extra pepper packet as it's extremely spicy. Also I was concerned the egusi would not be enough but it was the right amount. Just prep your proteins ahead of time. It make about a half pan of Egusi. Great price point. Family loved it. I can't wait to try the efo riro.

Not homemade, but close enough
Living in a place where access to international foods is challenging, but I found this and I was so happy! The kids loved it and I loved it too. It was flavorful and you can control the spice. It wasn't authentic like homemade, but close enough. Will buy again and possibly gift to others.

Delicious!!!
My wife and I have never tried egusi and heard it was delicious. After researching many recipes, we searched to find a kit with the ingredients instead of having to special order certain ingredients in bulk. Found this kit, and after reading the reviews we were definitely not disappointed! I added chopped fresh spinach. I cut beef pot roast into decent sized cubes and cooked it with fresh diced onions separately until tender, and used the juices as the beef broth. My wife and I love spicy food, the spicy pepper that came with the kit was very spicy by itself, but after adding little by little we chose to add the entire package and added cayenne pepper for extra spice to our liking. The egusi was perfectly spicy and had amazing flavor! We ate it with fufu. Thank you for this wonderful egusi kit, we will definitely be ordering more in the future!!!

I loved it!
Absolutely delicious!!!! The instructions were very easy to follow. I used boneless chicken thighs in this one. I think I will use lamb or pork next time. I would have shared a photo but I decided to leave a review after we ate.

If you’re having doubts don’t :)
I for one don’t review anything unless it’s actually really good. I don’t cook nor know how to, and I haven’t had Nigerian food in years. But I saw this and decided to give it a try. It was worth it. Instructions were very helpful and it tasted delicious!

Egusi Soup is great African Dish
We made it using these products and it was successful. We eat Egusu alot from different restaurants. It was different, as they all are , and good. We made alot . Used 4 packages. Did not use red pepper cause my husband, being from Africa, thought it might be too hot.
