Air Pump with Adjustable Air Flow Outlets for Aquarium, Fish Tank and Hydroponic Systems

I got this to make bubbles in my toddlers bubble bath. I was tired of manually have to keep agitating the water to make more bubbles so I decided to try this. Works pretty good I have to say. My toddler now has bubbles the whole bathtime and I can still feel my arm at the end. It has a distinctive hum to it. Not super loud, but noticeable. Kind of the same noise level as a vacuum sealer. We only run it for 30 minutes or so and I haven't noticed any heat build-up in that amount of time. The outer case is warm but not hot. I was having a hard time figuring out what size pump I needed for this. This is sending air to two 8" long rubber bubble tubes and use the1030 gph pump. This seems to work well for making bubbles in the bathtub. Could probably go down a size for the pump and still be fine.

I'm using this pump to provide the air for three five-gallon buckets of my hydroponic garden. Yes, the pump is loud so I use a Styrofoam lid to help absorb the noise. The lid is several inches away from the pump and doesn't not cover the pump. The pump is powerful. I use three of the outlets and do not have any of the outlets completely open. IMO the pump would handle at least five five-gallon buckets. Mine runs 24 hours a day. It's located in the basement so no noise is heard upstairs. With the muffling, I've learned to ignore the noise and just enjoy watching the tomatoes and pepper grow. My desk is about 10 feet away from the pump. I'm often on my phone and I've never had a comment about the background noise.

This is industrial material. I have 4 large tanks with 12 air stones and 2 sponge filters roaring, with approximately 65 feet of air line hooked up, maybe only using half its capacity. It is very noisy. It says less than 60db in the insert, but I'm thinking close to 59 3/4db. It would be best in another room or I ended up building it a ventilated, insulated box to keep it in the same room so you could hear the TV. Maybe quieter than 4 smaller pumps running. It runs hot. The air it pumps is hot. The metal valve system gets hot to the touch, to the point it expands, not quite melts the tubing connections, causing them to pop off without some extra clamp material. If you are running with the big boys, this one is for you.

Works great moves a lot of air but holy crap it's loud.

I ordered the pump to use on my aquariums for ease of use. It seemed to be a very powerful and efficient pump, which I tested for only about 5 mins, when i received it just to make sure the power and air flow worked. When I was ready I did my set up and all the necessary connections to my tanks, however the pump only stays on for about 20 minutes, it gets hot and shuts down. My window to return the pump has closed because I did not use the pump within close proximity of receiving it. I'm a bit disappointed cause now I'm back to square one.

I purchased this air pump to replace a smaller pump use in my hydroponic setup. This pump is loud.. but I have it set up in the garage where I'm not able to hear it at night. I read other reviews were people said that the pump gets hot, so I put a small fan by it to make sure it would not overheat and it has worked very well to keep it cool. This pump was at a great price and serves my needs very well.

Just like other Australian reviewers, pump burned out after 5 minutes of use. To the seller: PLEASE update your listing to reflect this is a 110V pump! I only discovered this AFTER it started spitting out smoke. I really wish I checked the markings before I plugged it in. This pump to work in Aussie market also needs a 240V -> 110V transformer.

Good pump, I have this installed into my shed and it is pumping air into my water about 100 feet away.

Yo compré esta bomba para mi máquina laser, no para pecera. Por lo que mi opinión es solo por si estás buscando algo como esto para máquina laser. Evidentemente mis cortes mejoraron. Sigo usando dos pasadas en cortar, pero es 100% seguro que a la segunda pasada mi laser corta excelente. Incluso cuando el laser está recién limpio, corta el mdf a la primera gracias a la bomba. En mi caso corto a 300mm/s a 80% de potencia, o a 287mm/s a 80% de potencia. Otra ventaja es que al usar aire el lente del laser no se ensucia tan rápido, por lo que aguanta muchos proyectos cortando antes de limpiar el lente nuevamente. Recomiendo que no se use el adaptador de varias salidas, ya que esto reduce considerablemente la presión del aire, y para el laser se nota mucho. Repito, esto es solo para los que usamos esta bomba para corte láser. Podría necesitar mas presión y tener un mejor desempeño en mis cortes, pero por lo pronto con esta bomba me va muy bien. Ojo, tienes que comprar la de 58W, para que te quede excelente.

Had been looking forward to running ALL my airstones from one pump. I'd should of known that it wasn't going to work!!! Set it all up as per instructions, plugged it in, after ONLY 5mins started to smoke then stopped working ,blew up and tripped my safety switch. GOOD ON YER CHINA!!!!!
