It fit!
Had to first remove bits of the old broken part. The old silicone washer thing was missing so I had to use the new one. Didn’t seem like it was going to fit (tad too big) but I managed to get it in there and smooth out the edges before pressing on the top part. Other reviewers said they had to press very hard for the top piece so I braced myself, ready to have sore thumbs trying to get it on but it actually snapped on pretty easily compared to what I thought it was going to be like. Makes the the whole area look brand new.

You just have to push till it clicks!! I actually thought I was pushing a little too hard.. but it did pop in perfectly
