The wedge is firm. I love it. I use it on the flat edge for pregnancy related heart burn and more upright for support when sitting up in bed. We were recommended this one by a friend who also had it. It’s maybe not as wide as I had expected it to be. But this has never been a problem and is more convenient for day time storage/not taking up all of the room in the bed. Since buying it for my heartburn, I’ve also got pregnancy ab separation (diastasis recti) and it’s really comfortable to have something supportive/firm to rest on. I purchased (and returned) a more expensive one from a department store, that had a moveable part to make more shapes. This has been way more suitable than the first one I tried. Only downside is that I wish it was possible to buy cotton pillow cases for it.

At first it looked very small so we thought it would t be appropriate so arranged a return ( my partner had stomach cancer and after his operation it has left him with severe acid reflux) but before I got chance to send it back he decided to give it a go and he’s had the best couple of nights sleep in ages. It doesn’t look much when unpackaged but it sure does the trick.

An excellent product that helped alleviate my asthma at night.. Its enabled me to breathe better in bed , as it's just at the right angle. I have gone from constance pillow plumping through the night to 5 to 6 hours sleep right through The pillow cover is great and I have stopped sneezing through dust mite allergies in the night. I have reduced inhaler use by about 80%. It's so much more than I expected. Well recommended

this item is good support but is smaller than it appears ... not suitable for a very large frame person, much better for a smaller narrower person

Nice quality and comfortable but not nearly as high as it looks in the photo. Though it has a removable covering, it would be nice if it came with a pillowslip as it won't fit into a normal one. No real issues but it did not suit my purpose as I need something higher to relieve my pain.

Bought for reflux relief and seems to be helping. Definitely better than trying to sleep on stacked pillows

I've used this for two nights for reflux due to a hernia. It has given me dreadful backache and hardly any sleep over those two nights as it's so uncomfortable. It seems not to give any support to the lower back as there's just a gap. As for memory foam....well this one's forgotten! It's just like a hard piece of dense foam. Very disappointed, so sending back.
