Love This Knife! !
Everything about this knife is first class from the packaging and German steel blade to the perfect balance and handle. I spent a great deal of time researching 7" santoku knives -- some costing twice as much -- and I'm so pleased with my choice. It's ultra sharp. Every cut when slicing is accurate, clean and straight. Whether you're buying for yourself or as a gift, it's hard to beat this santoku!

Great knife, as good as, if not better than, my Wustoff Classics

not bad
not a great quality german steel knife, but at a good price. A third party company just licensed the name

Well worth the price
Really can't beat it for the price. Well balanced. Great heel size. I'm just being very cautious about keeping it dry after use. Been using it for almost two months straight, six days a week & still haven't touched it to a steel, stone, or sharpener.

A good value....not the best knife in my block, recommended.
Well, for a $29 knife, it can't be beat. As it turns out, I try to be good, but I'm a bad knife owner. I always wash by hand. I always rinse immediately after cutting tomatoes or lemons. But, I don't wash my knives immediately. Some times I don't wash them until the next day. I have owned the knife for two months and use it several times a week. It is now developing rust spots. This is a great knife for thirty bucks, but my German masterpieces can live up to my un-perfect care and handling.

Great knives
Thank you. I am a graduate from CIA. It is a shame they don't make them anymore! Any knife will be reliable as long as you take care of it. However..... I would invest in this one.

Terrific knife.
Absolutely the best knife I've ever owned. Comfortable in my hand and maintains a great edge. I'm going to buy the rest of the Culinary Institute set and pack away my $$$ German ones.

Great price for a wonderful knife
Great price for a wonderful knife. I love the weight in the handle and sharpness of the blade. I'm going to buy some for friends as gifts.
