Easy to install, easy way to replace broken wheels

Just as well made as the origionals. Very easy to install and seem more durable than factory ones.

All my wheels started falling off and really I was just looking for a replacement little plug to hold the wheels in place but apparently they do not make those. I looked at kitchenaide to find the part I need for my KDFE204ESS1 dishwasher and they wanted $75 for one of these. That my friends is highway robbery for a part that probably costs them $1 to make. I need all four so $300. I could almost buy a new dishwasher for that! Anyway I came and looked here and saw bunches of choices. I decided against the ones with the metal part because people said they rusted. These look exactly like what was in my dishwasher and after getting the old ones off with some brut force it was not too hard to install these. One thing I had one row of tines fall off when I took the old things off because that row is adjustable and fits into the piece I took off. So be careful to look at how things fit into there so you can put them back together. I will say that they do not roll as smooth as the original and I have a feeling with a full load of dishes they may be even tougher to roll but frankly I do not care that much. I can make it work as long as the basket is in the right position. Anyway over all these are a fair value. They are not as good as the originals as far as smooth rolling but I can live with it.

The wheels were literally coming off the lower rack in our KitchenAid dishwasher. These replacement wheels were exactly what was needed; we ended up replacing three out of the four sets, keeping one as as spare. The wheels snap in without too much difficulty (the mounting arrangement was identical to the existing wheels). The fit was a bit tight, but after a short breaking-in period, the rack moves in and out smoothly.

These were easy to replace and the price is clearly very low relative to “genuine” factory parts. But the wheels don’t roll smoothly and when you replace all four sets on the lower shelf (why wouldn’t you?) there is a lot of rolling resistance. I was tempted to return these and try another brand, but it’s not clear they don’t all come from the same manufacturer. My dishwasher is ten years old and works great, so I don’t want to spend more, but it would be nice if these rolled easier.

Fast, easy and affordable fix

While these seem identical to the factor parts in both appearance and quality, they don't last. The heat from the diswasher warped the one I replaced to the point it no longer rolls properly. The wheels have loosened and the rack keeps coming off track because of they are no longer straight. It worked as a temporary fix, but it's not a long term solution.
