Z Beans Coffee is the best coffee I have had in a VERY long time
Z Beans Coffee is the best coffee I have had in a VERY long time. I waited a week until reviewing to give a more accurate review. Many times, I find that I am ecstatic about a product but then find that it was just the novelty of the product that I really enjoyed. This is not the case at all with Z Beans. Often, I find myself adding creamer or milk to my coffee to reduce the acidic taste that is in inherent in most coffees. Not so with Z Beans. It provides a smooth and rich taste with none of the acidity. This is the first coffee that I brew myself that I can drink (comfortably) without the added use of creamer. This lack of creamer means I can enjoy the coffee, and just the coffee, without concern for other products. I think this is the true test of a coffee-how well the actual coffee stacks up regardless of preparation. Z Beans passes this test with flying colors. Furthermore, Z Beans has a more "earthly" aroma than do other coffees I drink. This makes for a more enjoyable experience as opposed to other coffees that bombard your palate with a smörgåsbord of scents and flavors; often obfuscating the very aromas that make for a small but vital role in the coffee drinking experience. After all, if all one wants from coffee is just the caffeine, there are more convenient ways to get it. Coffee, in my humble opinion, is just as much a ritual as it is a means to an end. If I wanted cheap coffee whose taste and smell I cannot discern, there are dozens of different avenues I can go about acquiring it. Lastly, the mission of the coffee is as noble as the coffee is tasteful. Helping others by helping yourself is just a happy little by-product. -Oscar M.

Awesome flavor...but no date on package?
I have my favorite coffee delivered to my home. This is not that brand. However, I was running out of my normal coffee sooner than I should have and I needed something to get by in the meantime. Enter Z BEANS COFFEE. Bought this blindly based on positive Amazon reviews. When I received it I was shocked there was absolutely no freshness date on the packaging. That sort of put me into panic mode thinking perhaps I received a stale shipment. All of that fear was alleviated when I ground and brewed my first cup. WOW! What a bold, but smooth flavorful cup of coffee. I enjoyed it so much that it could easily continue to be a temporary fix when I run out of my normal brand. Best of all, I find this coffee to be an excellent value for the price. In fact, I think you are getting a much higher grade of coffee at this price point. It's really a fantastic cup of coffee, and it even gives a nice caffeine buzz for your entire day. Highly recommended!

A nice honey processed bean Amazon
Pretty good. Roast date was more than a month out 4/12. Made a double shot espresso that came out very smooth with medium body. Chocolate milk finish with a slight sweetness at the end. Not bad for a honey processed bean from Amazon.

A Small Biz that Deserves Our Support
This coffee is roasted in Macon, GA. I have never been to Macon and don't live in GA. I do not personally knowShane, the roaster and owner of this company. My customer service experience however with Shane has been exemplary. I emailed him some questions and he responded quickly and thoroughly. He is eager to please. But after all, this is about the coffee. Having had an interest once in coffee shop in Portland, OR, I have by default become somewhat of a coffee snob. I bought the Medium roast. On a five star scale, I give this coffee the highest rating. It was expertly packaged just as one might find in any independent coffee shop. The coffee was fresh and tasted just as described on Amazon's website, bold with a smooth aftertaste. This is the best "low-acid" coffee I have ever tasted. I will be buying more. Finally, it is important to support small businesses. But especially when that business is producing or manufacturing a quality product. Z Beans is just that - a quality product.

Not for us but others may like.
Pros: not bitter! Cons: it barely has any flavor at all, compared to what we are used to anyway. Not for us but others may like.

Smooth CAFFEINE
THE ABSOLUTE BEST.

Not natural process and old.
Says natural process but it's clearly a dark roast. Also roasted May 2023 but delivered in August; it's old. Not worth the money and can't get an exchange or money back. Feels like a scam since I paid a premium for what was supposed to be quality.

Not Fresh Not Natural Process as Advertised
I bought this coffee as it is advertised as “natural process”. When the coffee is dried inside the cherry it imparts a very distinct sweet and floral flavor that I prefer. Unfortunately, upon a first sip it was immediately apparent that this coffee was neither natural process or fresh. After the disappointing first sip, I scrutinized the description on the bag, which says, washed or natural, but it is advertised specifically as natural process. Of leaser concern, it is also advertised as organic, but there is no organic certification on the bag it was sent in. I could have overlooked the coffee not being natural process and likely not organic if it had been fresh and delicious, but it wasn’t. The date stamp of 4/1 suggests a roasting date of 3.5 months ago, which jibes with the telltale stale taste, of a past its prime coffee. I was excited about trying this coffee, but it’s a no go for me. Unfortunately it is not returnable.
