It did the job of filtering, but had to run water through it to clean it first. took more filters than I expected

I use these in my table top water distiller. When I purchased my distiller it said to use one of these so I replace it after every 30 gallons. I guess its working well, the water is better than what i get out of the tap,

Bought these two years ago. I am quite happy with them. So easy to use. Remove spout and throw away old charcoal filter, fold new one and place inside spout. I have found they last longer than recommended. They come in a thick compact zip up bag. I’d say the worst thing about them is the first use or two there is some fine charcoal that makes its way through. It doesn’t hurt anything. I really can’t find anything else wrong with these filters. Worth your mo ey to try.
