Lights every time. Holds a lot of fuel. A bit large and heavy but great flame and perfect for my cigars.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! The quality is great, it’s fairly “heavy” duty and he likes the strength of the flame it produces.

It’s the constant quality I have grown to expect. The single torch helps to control the amount of heat you put on your cigar.

Dropped it a million times and it still fires right up.

Great lighter for cigars. Used to use double and triple jet lighters and always had problems. The large single jet is the way to go.

Have had this thing for several years now. Only thing of note is that the striking mechanism is a little touchy when trying to light, but other than that it still works great.

Larger jet (10mm) on this lighter works fantastic, holds quite a bit of gas, recommend using the Xikar high performance/high altitude butane. That helps this lighter work at peak performance and longest life. Solid, heavy, lighter and the cap has to be manually flipped open, it does not automatically flip open when you activate/pull the ignition switch down. You must manually open and close the cap on this lighter. Cap works great as a cigar rest, for ring gauges up to about 56 or 58. Will report back on how long this lighter actually lasts. (edit: After 40 days of everyday cigar lighting usage, the clear 'fuel gauge windows' on both sides have cracked open and blew all the butane out..Had to withdraw the 5 star rating i had posted previously, until I see how Xikar handles their warranty process. Hopefully this was just a fluke with this lighter and not a problem with this whole line? Will report back after the warranty gets addressed. Ideally they send a new lighter and not a refurbished one. Posted May25, 2020)

I was at the beach, and left it under my towel so its not in the sun. The bottom part exploded (no flames, just from the gas pressure). Definitely not recommended. However the flame was good and it lasted for a few extra cigars than other lighters. At that price, I'd expect it to be a lot more rigid tho. The bottom part is the problem, it easily falls out and gets damaged.
