For what it's worth, I had no fitment problems, centering problems, or issues with it being "loose" like other's have reported. I snapped it right in, ran the wires through the rain gutter at the bottom of the tailgate, and everything is great. It's true that the resolution won't blow you away, but come on. It's a reverse camera in an old truck. There is plenty of resolution to clearly back up to your trailer without running over any stray children.

6 months in and still works great. Picture quality is clear and can easily see without trouble. Having bright back up lights helps at night as well. Fit my 99 Silverado perfect. And looks like it was from factory. Can handle hurricanes and strong vibrations

fit was good and installation was not bad. The camera on mine is a little off being centered. Slightly twisted in the hole. Its also glued in the hole. Otherwise great.

Was a lot easier to install than I thought it would be. I watched a few YouTube videos before installing this. Has good picture quality with Alpine double din. Took about a hour to install tailgate camera and run wiring. I would recommend this. I will update if I have any problems with this camera.

I've had this on my truck for a little over a year now One thing I could tell you is it hates the cold when it's cold out I started noticing that you could see lines through the camera now all the sudden the thing doesn't turn on I checked all my wiring nothing on my end it's the camera so it gave out I'm convinced it's because of the weather also the fitment is not perfect I will say when it did work it worked well camera quality was decent .

Wiring is straight forward and the camera quality is good... Installation tip: When installing the actual camera take off the foam with tape because you don't really need them. When you clip the camera in push up on it so its snug. The mistake i made was just clipping it in and it would still be loose.

Its a waste of money. Purchased June of 2024 because of the Youtube video. Now March of 2025 camera intermittently works. Camera was professionally installed along with a brand name head unit. Have checked all of the connections, and tested wiring from headunit with another camera . Also bezel fit is not great either. Will be purchasing a better camera when I find a decent replacement.

Works really well compared to other versions of this. Plastic is a bit more pliable than my last one so the tabs did not break this time! Camera is fine with my 2-din head unit resolution.

Was a little worried about fitment in the tailgate from reading reviews, but it seemed to fit snug and doesnt fall out. Going on a couple months now and no problems. Would recommend this product. Easy setup splicing into the reverse tail light and then into the back of your head unit Update. Year and a half later and this backup camera is still working. Great product for the price
