The lamp arrived quickly and in excellent packaging. As a 20 soemthing female with the stength of a wet noodle I was pleased at how easy this was to assemble. It took less than ten minutes to assemble with no tools and then the lamp was being positioned between my bedside table and my bed. The hinged arms allow for an excellent amount of articulation and the ability to position the light source in that lovely sweet spot that makes reading in bed absolutely perfect. The articulated arms are moved by loosening and tightening a wing nut which is a little stiff to start if you wan to move the arms dramatically as I later chose to do. If you lack the grip stength to loosen these and tighetn by hand as I did at first then a towel and pair of pliars makes easy work of them without damaging the finish/paint. A little WD40 remedies the issue quickly.The base is heavy as you would expect from a lamp of this height and I recommend taking account of the base diameter to ensure it fits into whatever space you desire to place it.I primarily bought this lamp for reading in bed and it is working great. I was particularly pleased because the wooden portions of the lamp were easily roughened with some sandpaper and then painted my desired colour of red to match my bedroom colour scheme. I now have an absolutely perfect black and red lamp that suits my room. In the future if I change the colour scheme of the room I can easily sand down those two wooden sections again and paint a new colour to match.I highly recommend.

I was a bit hesitant about buying this but I’m so glad I did. It arrive quickly and the easy to set up. It even included a lightbulb.great quality and it’s looks great 😌

The lamp is perfect for the money, looks good, although I was hoping to stain the light wood parts darker, to match our room, so discovering they are actually metal was a bit of a disappointment.Easy to assemble and even comes with an LED bulb.

Got it, put it together and voila! It must have been the easiest assembly ever! Love the lamp, the feel, the way it looks, very sturdy and looks the part...If I'd buy it again...yes, I'd...now, not to be too complacent..two minor things to keep in mind...the cord could be white really...and also it's awfully short, so be prepared for extensions if you're not near the socket...but other than that yuppie :)...thank you

Very pleased with the look and style of this lamp. It’s adjustable & easily slots & twists together for assembly. Nice that a bulb is included to start off & is protectively packaged.

Good , solid and well designed standing light. I use this - along with other lights - to iluminate a workshop top and drawing board and it does the job well. The solid build is just what I wanted and by today's standards this is reasonably priced. I would have liked a longer cable but extensions can take care of this. A dimmer would have been a useful addition but wouid have put the price up. Recmmended.

Easy to put together. It's adjustable, seems sturdy, with a good heavy base.

Looks good. Enhances the room. Very easy to put together. Precisely what I wanted.Price very competitive. Much prefer this traditional look to the non-replaceable hi-tech flat light panels you get on some lamps. Minor issue is that they've been a wee bit mean with the length of the flex.
