My friends say that whatever hat I wear, I look like Benny Hill (comedian). Not this one! It is comfortable, fits well to the size I specified and is solidly made.

I bought this for my partner as we were going to a cowboy themed party. He loves the style and went with his outfit, on the day of the party it was hot and sunny and the hat protected him from the sun well. Not sure on being waterproof as hasn't had the opportunity to wear it in the rain. But very good value for money. Lovely material.

delivered before date given which was a bonus .the hat its self is very well made using the sizing guide on the site i got the correct size.have put some leather conditioner on it which it sucked up quickley this hat will last for years if looked after very pleased with purchase well done walker and hawkes

I would describe this as a medium weight, large brimmed, leather hat with a leather strap. A little lighter weight than my previous brown leather hat, it looks very shower proof. The brim is a little wider than my previous hat, which keeps more sun off but is slightly less attractive to look at. The fit is a little looser than I expected. The leather a little lighter.This hat has does seem like very fair value for money.The hat seems slightly lower cut than my previous hat, as though the height is slightly lower. It seems like a very practical outdoor piece of kit more than a design statement.The cord is leather.I bought this for gardening, outdoor walking, and holidays. I think it’s probably more workmanlike than a holiday hat, but will probably end up being used for everything.
