These 3M-2238 Red Dot Cloth Electrodes are absolute beasts. Once you stick them on, they’re not coming off until the mission is complete—whether that mission is a 48-hour Holter monitor, a sweaty workout, or surviving a toddler climbing on your chest like a jungle gym. The cloth backing is soft enough that I forgot they were even there, but the adhesive? Let’s just say if duct tape and loyalty had a baby, it’d be this electrode. No itching, no irritation, and they didn’t curl, crack, or lift—not even in the shower. And when it’s time to remove them? They come off gently, like they know they’ve done their job. No skin trauma. These worked fine with the old Lifepak defibrillator that we have in the office. The stay stuck on for the 3 lead ecg and were well worth the cost

These adhere and function well without too much residual adhesive left on the skin. I’m being a little picky, but they have clear backings that are a little harder to peel off quickly and quickly become difficult pieces of trash to find if they fall on the floor.

I wear an EKG monitor, the er1 made by Wellue. After two ablations, I need to know what's-happening! You cannot get reliable info with a 30sec finger gizmo or a visit every 6mos. (for another short EKG) I run random days anywhere from 6-8-12hr readings and submit to their diagnostic, then print them out ...going on my 3rd year. These pads work best for me squirming around in the bed a night and laboring during the day.

The quality was not very good. Many of these electrodes were sticking to one another and they are very quite difficult to take off. It hurts a bit unless you use alcohol or something else. They work. My CheckMe ER-1 holter monitor worked well. I just did not like them. I prefer the 3am Model 2560. They are smaller and an easier to take off, in my opinion.

Doing a heart monitor study for two weeks and the EKG pads they gave me were falling off for any old reason. So, I bought these and they stay on very well. This is the kind that stays on and might give you a tad of a bite when taking off, but at least they don't keep falling off. These are the kind I've had used during my cardiac rehab, so I know they are decent. Readings are going through the monitor.

As a person with a heart condition, these are the only electrodes I can stand for long term wear. They normally stay on until I have to shower, and at that point they're not painful to take off. I have no doubt these would stay stuck to a person for 5 days if need be. Be careful about the packaging, and immediately return them if they have been shipped in a crumpled up non padded mailer, as they'll all be stuck together.
