These extension cords were perfect for hanging my Ikea lamps exactly where I wanted them over my desk. The dimmer switches are so helpful during various hours of the day when I want less or more light. I have owned these for more than a year. They are sturdy and well made.

This is just what I needed to hang a grow light over my plants! No issues.

So I didn’t think things through when I ordered these as my lampshade is not the right kind. However with an easy and quick deconstruction of the light kit, I was able to make these work for my vintage Capiz shades I received from my grandma. They work great! We put smart bulbs in them, so we just leave the switch on and tell Google to turn our lights on.

They're very sturdy, and a good quality item. There are specialty pieces for securing the cord by the hooks that could use instructions, though. It seems like they might be self-explanatory but not in this case & I'm very a handy person. It looked weird so I skipped it & am lucky that it hangs ok in that room where the cord won't be touched. I'm hoping to figure it out for the 2nd one, because Two at this price is a very good value.

Easy to be creative with these.

I make lamps and these cords are perfect. Strong and the long cord makes them easy yo use. Like these alot. I've bought them twice. 4 in total and don't have a single complaint.

Great for replacement or projects.

First and foremost, I love these things. I don't love the anchors it came with. I had trouble getting the plastic anchors in the drywall without breaking/bending them; I've installed similar hardware with a lot less trouble - so I have something to compare it to and these anchors are definitely just cheap. So I ended up having to screw the hooks directly into the ceiling, but I saw they weren't going to hold the weight of the cord (much less a heavy grow light) - so I used Gorilla Glue on the hooks and set them back into the ceiling. Once that annoying bit was done (which could have been avoided with better hardware) - I hung them up and I love them. I know the review sounds negative, but I just want to highlight that they may take a little more than what's in the package - but they're totally worth it. At this price point, I wasn't expecting them to even come with the hardware honestly - so I didn't deduct any stars. But if you're someone who wants something ready out of the box, be prepared to be disappointed or put in a little extra effort.
