I bought this for my sons for Christmas with the super strong magnets that are recommended. I put these in a big glass jar and it's just cool to see how the magnets work with this. A note of caution- my son put the magnets directly in the powder and we're having a hard time getting these to come off the magnet. These are really cool to see play with

Bought to use in resin projects. Have small tic, tac, toe set. Added this to the "X's and O's" and small magnets to to the board. Works great. Looking forward to using this in in resin with magnets to create designs.

These are exactly what it said but not what I needed they will rust if used in slime

I used this under a thin layer of epoxy to create a magnetic board and it turned out great!! I will caution you not to still cuz it gets everywhere HAHAH...

My son enjoyed this for two enchanting long sessions. For that it is well worth it. On the down side, I live in one of the driest climates on the planet and this powder still rusted. Also, it stuck all over our magnet collection. I had to buy one powerful magnet to clean the iron off all our other magnets. If you are like me and see value in this for your kids, you may also want to get them some sand to pull the iron out of it with a magnet. Fun.

It's fun to change the magnet orientation & see the field lines change. We need to be careful with the magnet (to not break the glass). I live in the desert, so rust isn't really a concern for me over time.

A huge amount of iron filings, and at a great price! A must have for an educator like myself.

The filings themselves are fine but I ordered 2 and one of the was open and completely empty when it arrived. I was quite annoyed since they're aren't very cheap.
